Prince William County schools receive more money than all other county services combined. I will manage those resources responsibly, not cry for a new tax. I will make sure teachers are empowered to teach and supported by the School Board. I will look for ways to increase parental involvement. I am, and will continue to be, approachable."

"I have succeeded because of a strong basic education that all children deserve. I will work to ensure Prince William County children get the same."

"I care about our children and our community. I believe our county is headed in the right direction to equip our children with a quality education that will enable them to compete in the work force of the future. Therefore, I want to be a part of the decision-making force. I want to be the eyes, ears and voice of my community, making sure our children get the best education Price William County can afford. As a parent, a community activist and a retired teacher, I believe I will bring a broad perspective to Prince William County School Board."

"I want to dispel the 'us against them' attitude and build a bridge between school officials, teachers, students and community, with everyone investing in our children's future."
