Why should the voters elect you?
"I am dedicated and responsive. I listen. I believe strongly in empowering citizens and I have appointed many citizens from diverse backgrounds, cultures and political views to a wide variety of boards, commissions and committees. I am involved in a wide variety of community activities. From these activities, I have gained a deep understanding of what matters to our citizens. I was the first to advocate concerns with growth in Prince William County and have worked to redefine how we plan for growth, with an emphasis on balanced growth and our ability to provide jobs and services. I am a strong and proven advocate in school, public safety, transportation, economic development and recreation issues. I love serving my community."
What would you like voters to know about you?
"Personally, I am average person with a modest lifestyle and have had many triumphs and disappointments. I identify with people easily. I am always available to them."
