Why should the voters elect you?

"The consequences of growth present real challenges, but none is more important than a School Board willing to work directly with our Board of Supervisors. Voters deserve and expect us to cooperate to finance the needs of public education, while looking out for the taxpayer. As a conservative who believes in public education, I intend to represent Sterling citizens. I will work to restore their trust in the school budget and to regain the confidence of our Board of Supervisors. Controlling new construction costs, improving teacher salaries, meeting Standard of Learning standards and focusing resources on quality classroom instruction are my goals."

What would you like voters to know about you?

"I have been congressional affairs director for President George Bush; spent 17 years on staff to Republican members of Congress; was counsel for 11 years to the U.S. House Committee on Rules."
