"I pledge to work toward steadying the course of growth in our county; to demand financial accountability for our citizens; to ensure that public safety issues for our county and town citizens are properly addressed; to improve education and the learning environment for our youth; and to work on improving transportation. I have an in-depth understanding of the problems facing Loudoun County and am prepared for the challenge. Additionally, I will foster a more positive atmosphere and a closer relationship between Loudoun County and Leesburg."

"We need new leaders, like me, who understand that runaway growth threatens to destroy much of what makes Loudoun a great place. I will work hard to control growth and make developers pay the full infrastructure costs generated by their projects. I will work hard to build more classrooms and provide our children with the best education possible. I am also a member of Loudoun's business and professional community, and I know the importance of a strong and vibrant economy. We need someone new, like me, with the energy, creativity and vision to lead the county into the next century."

"I grew up in Loudoun, and I have the commitment and integrity to keep it a great place to live, work and raise a family."
