Congregation Kol Ami of Annapolis will celebrate Jewish Book Month with a series of authors' readings, panel discussions and children's storytelling. A list of events follows.

Barbara Moss will read from her Holocaust-themed short story at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 4. Moss's works have been published in the New England Literary Journal. A discussion will follow the reading.

Rabbi Naomi Hyman will read from her book "Women in the Midrash" at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9. A discussion will follow.

A forum on the Middle East peace process will be held at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 17. Participants include Gary Cagle, former military medical officer in the Middle East; Saul Friedman, Newsday Middle East specialist; and Ira Rifkin, national correspondent for Religion News Service.

A storytelling hour for children of all ages will be held at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 21. Sam Rubin will read a selection of popular children's tales. A Hanukah gift sale will be held at the same time.

Old Wye Church in Wye Mills will hold its annual Christmas Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 6. Items for sale include handmade goods, gourmet gifts, homemade jellies, pickles and baked goods. There also will be a silent auction, and Santa Claus will appear in the Vestry cottage. Lunch will be available.
