The Manassas office of the law firm Hazel & Thomas has joined Walsh, Colucci, Stackhouse, Emrich & Lubeley.

The four lawyers from the Manassas office of Hazel & Thomas have joined the 21-lawyer firm, which now has offices in Woodbridge and Manassas, as well as headquarters in Arlington.

John Foote, Garth Wainman and Jan Roltsch-Annoll are now partners with Walsh, Colucci, and Slyvion Moss is an associate.

"Nothing has changed, but everything is different," Foote said. "It was like moving in with old friends."

He said Walsh, Colucci eventually will consolidate the Manassas and Woodbridge offices.

The 85-person firm of Hazel & Thomas merged this year to make Reed, Smith, Hazel & Thomas, now a 550-lawyer firm with offices throughout the United States, making it the largest firm in the mid-Atlantic region and among the largest in the nation.
