College Marks AIDS Day

Prince George's Community College will present "End the Silence: Listen, Learn and Live," a day of presentations, free HIV testing and health services in recognition of World AIDS Day today. There will be seminars on such topics as the global view of AIDS and the testimonies of people living with the disease. In addition, an AIDS prevention panel will feature experts in the area answering questions on the subject, as well as a performance by Sasha Bruce of Youthgroups of Washington.

Some of the experts are Michele Riguad, executive director of Partners in Health Protection Inc.; Andrew Ross, associate professor in the Biology Department at the college; and Yvonne Green, information and grievance supervisor of the Health Education Resource.
