Two-time All-Extra Player of the Year also was named the conference's most outstanding player for the second consecutive season. Led Thomas Stone to a 10-0 regular season and a berth in the Maryland 3A final. All-Met selection finished the season with 1,920 yards rushing and 17 touchdowns on 238 carries. Also had 81 tackles and one interception at linebacker. Totaled 3,854 yards rushing and 41 touchdowns in his final two seasons.

Senior, Calvert

Named first team all-SMAC as both a defensive back and a wide receiver. Picked off a league-high seven passes and also returned two fumbles for touchdowns. Made 77 tackles. Against Patuxent he caught two touchdown passes for 114 yards, returned a fumble for a score, blocked a punt and grabbed two interceptions. Finished the season with 14 receptions for 304 yards (21.7 yards per catch) and eight touchdowns.

Guided Thomas Stone to its first 12-win season in school history--including back-to-back wins over rival Westlake--and a berth in the state final. Has compiled a 32-10 record in four years at Thomas Stone. He went 131-30-2 in the 16 years he spent as the Cougars' junior varsity coach.
