Breakfast of Chambers

The Prince William County-Greater Manassas Chamber and the Prince William Regional Chamber of Commerce will jointly present the annual legislative kick-off breakfast Jan. 5.

The breakfast is sponsored by Dominion Semiconductor and will be held at the Old Country Buffet, 8121 Sudley Rd., in Manassas. Registrations, networking and breakfast buffet will begin at 8 a.m., and the program will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

Attendees will find out what is expected to happen at the upcoming Virginia General Assembly and how it will affect residents and businesses.

New Groupe Office

John Groupe, president of the Engineering Groupe of Woodbridge, a civil engineering, planning and surveying company, opened a new engineering and surveying services office in Fredericksburg.

The 2,200-square-foot facility, at 4900 Hood Dr. between Route 1 and Courthouse Road, is staffed with 15 professional and support personnel.

'Champion' Selected

Woodbridge Plumbing Inc. was recognized as a "Small Business Champion" by Bank of America at the Dec. 12 Redskins game against the Cardinals.

Woodbridge Plumbing, at 2705 Code Way in Woodbridge, was selected for its strong commitment to teamwork, success and community involvement, according to Bank of America.

Bank of America recognizes a Small Business Champion from the Washington area before each of the Redskins' eight regular season home games.
