CHARLOTTE HALL AREA

ASSAULTS

CHARLOTTE HALL, 5:10 p.m. Oct. 6. A man, 42, assaulted a woman at a residence. He was charged with second-degree assault.

GREAT MILLS AREA

SEXUAL OFFENSE

GREAT MILLS, 11:30 p.m. Oct. 6. A man, 21, raped and assaulted a woman at a residence. He was charged with second-degree rape and second-degree assault.

HOLLYWOOD AREA

ASSAULTS

HOLLYWOOD, 3 p.m. Oct. 6. Three men, ages 18, 18 and 19, assaulted one another in the parking lot of the McKay's store.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HOLLYWOOD, Oct. 8. A man, 36, stole a cell phone from a vehicle in which he was riding. He was charged with theft less than $500.

ROUTE 235 AND VISTA ROAD, midnight Oct. 11 to 9:35 a.m. Oct. 12. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

HOLLYWOOD, 11:35 p.m. Oct. 13. A man, 21, broke a windshield on a vehicle at a residence. He also made unwanted phone calls to the residence. He was charged with telephone misuse and malicious destruction of property less than $500.

JONES WHARF ROAD AND ROUTE 235, 11:35 p.m. Oct. 13. A windshield was broken on a vehicle parked on the street.

MEREDITH CT., 1 to 7:43 a.m. Oct. 16. The passenger side window of a vehicle was broken.

LEONARDTOWN AREA

ASSAULTS

ARCHER ST., 8 p.m. Oct. 15. A man, 33, assaulted another man and a woman at a residence. He was charged with two counts of second-degree assault.

LEONARDTOWN, 1:22 p.m. Oct. 14. A boy, 14, assaulted another boy, 15, at Leonardtown High School. He was charged with second-degree assault.

POINT LOOKOUT RD., 4:14 a.m. Oct. 8. A man, 22, assaulted a woman at a residence. He was charged with second-degree assault.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

LEONARDTOWN, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 14. A man, 25, broke into a residence and stole property, which included firearms. He was charged with first-degree burglary and theft more than $500.

ST. ANDREW'S CHURCH RD., 4 p.m. Oct. 5 to 9 a.m. Oct. 7. Someone attempted to pry off a window screen at Pet Paradise Kennels to gain entry.

ST. ANDREW'S CHURCH RD., midnight Oct. 6 to 7:40 a.m. Oct. 7. Power tools were stolen from a workshop. Entry was gained by breaking a window.

LEXINGTON PARK AREA

ASSAULTS

LEXINGTON PARK, 5:27 p.m. Oct. 4. A woman, 37, assaulted and demanded money from a woman at a residence. She was charged with second-degree assault and attempted robbery.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FRANKLIN RD., 5 p.m. Oct. 9 to 10:50 a.m. Oct. 10. License plates were stolen from a vehicle parked at a residence.

LEXINGTON PARK, 6:30 p.m. Oct. 5 to 1 p.m. Oct. 6. A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked at Levi's Auto Body.

LEXINGTON PARK, 9:10 a.m. Oct. 12. A man, 27, took his employer's vehicle without permission and stole tools from the vehicle. He was charged with unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and theft more than $500.

MECHANICSVILLE AREA

ASSAULTS

CALVERT CIR., 8:10 p.m. Oct. 6. A man, 43, assaulted troopers as he was being arrested for violating a court order. In addition to the court order violation, he was charged with second-degree assault and resisting arrest.

MECHANICSVILLE, 9:45 p.m. Oct. 16. A man, 27, assaulted a woman at a residence. He was charged with second-degree assault.

SANDGATES RD., 8:20 p.m. Oct. 6. A man, 18, assaulted a man at a residence. He was charged with second-degree assault.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

WEST LAKELAND DR., 11 p.m. Oct. 12 to 9 a.m. Oct. 13. The front license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked at a residence.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

CAT CREEK RD., 9 p.m. Oct. 3 to 12:07 a.m. Oct. 7. Three security lights on a vacant building were broken.
