SUMMER VILLAGE WAY, 100 block, 12:35 a.m. Oct. 19. Police, responding to a dispute, found a male armed with a knife and a metal ratchet less than 10 feet from a neighbor. A 62-year-old Annapolis man was arrested and charged with assault, harassment and stalking.

BAY HIGHLANDS DR., 1100 block, 2:41 a.m. Oct. 15. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported stolen.

FOREST DR., 2300 block, 11 p.m. Oct. 13 to 7:30 a.m. Oct. 14. A business was entered by forcing a rear door. Nothing was reported stolen.

ASSAULTS

CHURCH ST., 400 block, Oct. 18. After an altercation at a residence, a 21-year-old male received multiple stab wounds to the upper body. The male was taken to a hospital. An 18-year-old man of no known address was sought by police.

HALLWOOD CT., 1500 block, Oct. 12 to Oct. 14. Appliances were stolen from two construction sites.

THORNBURY CT., 1400 block, 5:02 a.m. Oct. 16. A construction site was entered by force. Nothing was reported stolen.

WICKFORD CT., 1100 block, 6:10 to 10:50 a.m. Oct. 16. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked front window.

RAYNOR AVE., 5100 block, 12:41 p.m. Oct. 20. A man entered a fast-food restaurant, climbed over a counter and took money from a cash register. Store employees detained the man before police arrived. A 27-year-old Baltimore man was arrested and charged with robbery.

HOMICIDES

VETERANS HWY., 8700 block. A 30-year-old former Millersville man was taken into custody on Oct. 17 this year in El Salvador and transported to Miami in connection with a homicide that occurred Oct. 16, 1997 in the Severn area. He was expected to be returned to Anne Arundel County pending an extradition hearing. After the homicide, the suspect fled from the state. The U.S. State Department was contacted, and with the assistance of the El Salvador National Police Force, the suspect, using a different name, was found living in El Salvador.

WB&A RD., 8200 block, 2:12 p.m. Oct. 20. A gunman robbed a store of cash.

PIONEER DR., 8500 block, 9:40 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 14. Stereo equipment was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear window.
