Why should the voters elect you?

"Four years ago, I ran for County Council promising to fight for the residents of Anne Arundel County. I have kept these promises by building a better education system, strengthening police and fire protection, protecting the environment and controlling growth. Anne Arundel County has invested $240 million in four years to rebuild and renovate its schools. Teacher morale has increased, and class sizes have been reduced. I have supported stricter environmental regulations and introduced or supported legislation to control growth and encourage redevelopment of older communities and commercial buildings. I fought for added recreation facilities, including a new aquatic center."

What would you like the voters to know about you?

"I am a very good listener and coalition builder. I know how to get problems resolved and how to work together to accomplish goals."
