Why should the voters elect you?

"Recently, we have seen gross mismanagement in government, runaway development that violates all the past concepts of planning and growth and politicians who have sold their souls for promises of support and financial gain. Southern Prince George's County has been particularly ignored, dumped upon and left wanting. I feel this is because we have never been able to create municipalities to properly represent our residents. We need a two-party system in our county. We need elected officials who will represent all the people in their districts."

What would you like the voters to know about you?

"I have lived in Prince George's County for 45 years. My wife has taught in the county public schools 24 years."

Why should the voters elect you?

"I am honest and will work for voters of Prince George's County. I ... believe the system needs a complete overhaul. Kindergarten through third grade should include breakfast and basic 3R's... Students and teachers must be tested. Reward good teachers and replace inferior ones. I am for the death penalty and believe in tough sentencing laws for violent crimes. Need to take sentencing priorities from the hands of liberal judges so sentencing is even. The people of Maryland are overtaxed and will not vote to enact taxes in violation of county charter, i.e., the latest telephone tax."

What would you like the voters to know about you?

"Prince George's County resident for 33 years. Five children graduated Friendly High School. Thirteen grandchildren. Retired Army colonel, 22 years service, awards include Purple Heart."
