"My family has lived in Anne Arundel County for many generations. Like most of our citizens, our roots and values run deep. Even deeper still is my commitment to pass on to our children the unique quality of life we have enjoyed for so long. As delegate, I will work to improve our children's education, expand health care and prescription drug coverage and protect the environment. I will work to bring the private and public sectors together to address the issues of overdevelopment, suburban sprawl and transportation. I am resolved to take our values to Annapolis."

What would you like the voters to know about you?

"My family and I are small-business owners. Our environmentally friendly business has provided jobs, recreation and revenue for Anne Arundel County."

Why should the voters elect you?

"The citizens of our community need Bob Costa because I have made a commitment to serving our community for more than 17 years. Our state legislature has forgotten about the citizens that really need government: our senior citizens and our children. Our seniors cannot afford to live in Maryland, and our children need a quality education and workforce training to succeed. Government spending needs to be reprioritized to acceptable levels in accordance with personal income growth."

What would you like the voters to know about you?

"Married since 1987; two sons, 8 and 4 years old. The only candidate with children in public schools. Active in the PTA in Deale Elementary."
