Why should the voters elect you?

"I feel more than qualified to become a member of the Board of Education because of my experience within the system. I bring to the table insight of the daily schedule of an educator as well as knowledge of parents' primary issues. Although I have not been an administrator, the decisions of the administrators did impact the classroom. On the Board of Ed, I can also bring knowledge from within the community through my role as pastor. Being familiar with a teacher's daily schedule would enable me to address issues of curriculum and testing from a firsthand experience."

What would you like the voters to know about you?

"I would like to emphasize that my role as a pastor would only serve to enhance, not impede, my role on the board."
