"The next years are especially critical to our community because of 2005 military base closures. Experience, stability, teamwork and knowledge of all community issues will be key. The last four years have brought progress in school construction, education, new library, land planning, preservation, parks, safety, seniors, Lexington Park revitalization, and museums. We have sound fiscal policies and a strong economy. Your governing leadership is civil and respectful. You have invested seven years in me as an elected official. Please continue to use my experience and knowledge to provide leadership, stability and progress for a bright future for St. Mary's County."
