Why should the voters elect you?

"During my 20-year career as a community activist, I have worked for solutions to problems that have impacted our communities. We need a state senator who will move Virginia forward in a way that is positive for our economy and Virginia. I will work to improve the transportation problem in Northern Virginia, to increase state aid to public education, to establish policies that will preserve valuable 'green space' in our communities, to provide access to health care for all children and affordable prescription drugs for seniors and to ensure our public safety needs are met."

What would you like the voters to know about you?

"I am a moderate who will listen to my constituents and work hard on their behalf. I will be a tireless leader for Northern Virginia."
