OLD GEORGETOWN RD., 10400 block, 1 a.m. Nov. 29. A man wearing a gray face mask confronted the male owner of a video store, who had gone to his car after closing and locking the store. The assailant ordered the owner to go back to the store and turn off the alarm. The owner complied and the assailant pulled out a silver handgun and told the owner to open a safe. The owner again complied, and the assailant took cash from the safe and fled.
ROCK SPRING DR., 6400 block, 11:30 a.m. Nov. 27. Five males accosted a 15-year-old male high school student walking to the school, beat him, forced him to the ground and took his hand-held CD player and earphone set.
WISCONSIN AND WOODMONT AVENUES, 9:30 p.m. Nov. 25. A man followed a 26-year-old woman walking home from work and grabbed her purse. The woman shouted for help. The man told her to be quiet and that he had a gun. He then fled empty-handed.
CENTER ST., 5500 block, Oct. 14 to Nov. 14. Tools were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked garage door.
EXETER RD., 7200 block, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Nov. 26. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked rear door.
MONTGOMERY MALL, 11 p.m. Nov. 21 to 9:30 a.m. Nov. 22. A clothing store was entered by cutting through a front door. Nothing was reported stolen.
MONTROSE AVE., 10300 block, 9:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Nov. 25. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by prying a bedroom rear window.
RANDOLPH RD., 5600 block, 7 p.m. Nov. 30 to 9:10 a.m. Dec. 1. A cash drawer at a gymnasium was pried and cash was stolen.
ROSS RD., 2400 block, noon to 3 p.m. Nov. 22. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered through a front door.
ST. PAUL ST., 10500 block, 4:50 a.m. Nov. 24. Cash and a cash register were stolen from a lumber business entered by breaking out a front door.
WOODACRE DR., 5900 block, 2:10 a.m. Nov. 26. Cash was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked rear door.
CHESTNUT STREET AND N. FREDERICK AVENUE, 5:40 p.m. Nov. 30. Two men accosted a 36-year-old Germantown man, after he had cashed a check, and one man reached into the man's pockets and took cash. The robbers fled on foot.
MIDDLEBROOK RD., 12400 block, 12:59 a.m. Nov. 25. Cash was stolen from a storage facility entered by breaking a side window.
PREAKNESS DR., 24300 block, 6 to 11:30 p.m. Nov. 22. CDs, VCR movies and a radio were stolen from a residence entered through a front door.
SUGARCANE LANE, 24000 block, 6:44 a.m. to 2:36 p.m. Nov. 25. A video-game system and games were stolen from a residence entered by prying off a rear door.
TEAKWOOD LANE, 19700 block, 8:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Nov. 26. A front door frame at a residence was pried. Nothing was reported stolen.
WYMAN WAY, 19900 block, 8:30 p.m. Nov. 23. Cash and a wallet were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked front door.
CLOPPER RD., 700 block, Nov. 21. A 21-year-old Gaithersburg man was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of second-degree assault, two counts of reckless endangerment and two counts of possession of a deadly weapon with intent to use to inflict injury, in connection with a series of fights at above location.
ARROWHEAD DRIVE AND MONTGOMERY VILLAGE AVENUE, 9:30 p.m. Nov. 26. A man wearing a white bandana and carrying a black handgun demanded a wallet and cell phone from an 18-year-old man. The man complied and the robber stuffed the items inside his sweatshirt and fled.
LAKEFOREST MALL, 7 p.m. Dec. 1. Two men accosted two store employees who were taking the night's receipts in money bags to a deposit box. The assailants shoved the employees into a wall and demanded the bags. One robber pulled out a silver-and-black semi-automatic handgun and pointed it at the employees, while the other man grabbed the bag. They ran up the steps, out to the parking lot and were seen entering a white, older model pickup truck, possibly a Ford.
LAKEFOREST MALL, 9:30 p.m. Nov. 25. A man outside a mall grabbed cash from a 20-year-old Montgomery Village as she was handing it to her brother. The robber forced the woman to the ground, then entered a red, two-door, 1997 Pontiac with Maryland registration and fled with other occupants of the vehicle. The woman sustained a cut on a knee during the robbery.
ODENDHAL AVE., 100 block, 7 p.m. Dec. 1. Two men came to the door of an apartment where a 56-year-old woman was selling items. She previously had promised some items to these two men, but they struck her in the face and took silverware and other items from her apartment at gunpoint.
BIG ACRE SQ., 1 to 100 block, 3:40 p.m. Nov. 21. A video-game system and games were stolen from a residence.
CARLSBAD DR., 1300 block, 3:16 p.m. Nov. 27. A residence was entered through a sliding glass door. Nothing was reported stolen.
DOWNING ST., 17100 block, 11 p.m. Nov. 20 to 6 a.m. Nov. 21. Cash was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked rear sliding door.
KEY WEST AVE., 9800 block, 5 p.m. Nov. 25 to 9 a.m. Nov. 26. Cash was stolen from a dentist office, entered by prying a door.
MOUNT ASH WAY, 8200 block, 9:10 a.m. to 8:15 p.m. Nov. 14. Liquor was stolen from a residence entered by pushing open a front door.
SPUR HILL DR., 19900 block, 1 to 1:30 a.m. Nov. 20. Clothing and DVD movies were stolen from a residence entered through a sliding glass door.
STALVEY HILL PL., 20100 block, 7:15 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 25. An attempt was made to enter a residence by breaking a living room window.
SUMMIT AVE. N., 300 block, 11:25 a.m. Nov. 27 to 1:15 a.m. Nov. 28. Cash and a CD player were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked sliding glass door.
WHEELWRIGHT DR., 19900 block, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 27. A rear door at a residence was broken out. Nothing was reported stolen.
ROCKVILLE PIKE, 12140 block, 9:30 p.m. Nov. 23. A man accosted a 25-year-old Silver Spring woman leaving a restaurant, pushed her and took her cell phone.
DARNESTOWN RD., 12000 block, 11:40 p.m. Dec. 1. A front window at a garden center was pried. Nothing was reported stolen.
KENTSDALE DR., 400 block, 2 to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 26. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear window.
SILVER SPRING DISTRICT
COLESVILLE RD., 8700 block, 2:50 p.m. Dec. 1. A man armed with a box cutter knife entered a hotel room and raped an adult female housekeeping employee who had been cleaning the room. The attacker left behind a red box cutter with "Debbie" written on it in black marker.
PROSPERITY DRIVE, 2 p.m. Nov. 30. A service manager at a Mitsubishi dealership was at his desk when a man ran in, grabbed a set of car keys from the desk and ran off. The service manager chased the thief to Cherry Hill Road where he caught and held him but, when the man pulled out a knife, the service manager let him go.
CASTLE BLVD., 13900 block, 12:30 a.m. Nov. 23. A man with a black handgun in an apartment building lobby demanded a wallet from a 27-year-old man who was returning to his apartment. The man complied, turning over his wallet which did not contain cash.
CASTLE BLVD., 13800 block, 8:04 p.m. Nov. 27. A 44-year-old Laurel man went to his van and found three men sitting inside the vehicle. One man had a silver pistol and demanded the motorist's keys and wallet, then hit him on the head with the gun. The motorist fell to the ground and the other two males hit him in the face, then took his wallet and car keys. The van was not reported taken. The man was transported to a local hospital with a cut to the head.
HAMPSHIRE WEST CT., 1400 block, 7:53 p.m. Nov. 24. Two males forced to the ground a Beltsville man who had been loading property into his silver Honda Accord. One attacker then demanded cash. The man handed over his wallet. The other attacker demanded the car keys. The man complied and the robber drove off in the Honda.
LOCKWOOD DRIVE, 2:45 p.m. Nov. 26. Two youths accosted a 16-year-old student as he got off a school bus. One boy pulled out a gun and the other implied having a knife. They demanded the student's wallet, took cash, returned the wallet, then walked away.
MCCOMAS AVE., 2900 block, 7:44 p.m. Nov. 27. Three men accosted a 52-year-old Silver Spring man in front of his home and one of them pointed a black handgun at the man and demanded cash, then hit him in the head with the butt of the gun. The resident fell to the ground and the men searched his backpack but took nothing.
MONTGOMERY BLAIR HIGH SCHOOL, noon, Nov. 15. A male in a men's bathroom demanded cash from a 16-year-old student and said he would shoot the boy if he turned around. The boy handed over cash and the robber left.
OUTLET DR., 13830 block, 9:30 p.m. Nov. 21. A man with a steak knife in a discount store pulled a cap over his face and accosted a store owner as she was counting the day's receipts. He ordered her to put cash in a bag, then cut the phone lines, forced the owner to stop the security videotape, then fled on foot.
SCHUYLER ROAD AND SLIGO CREEK PARKWAY, 3 p.m. Nov. 23. Two teenagers demanded a bicycle at gunpoint from a 9-year-old male pedestrian. The boy fled and contacted police. Nothing was reported taken.
STEWART LANE, 11500 block, 8:20 p.m. Nov. 22. Two youths accosted a 28-year-old woman walking home from work. One boy pulled a silver handgun and demanded her purse. She refused and started to walk away but the other boy pressed a sharp object, possibly a knife, to her back while the boy with the gun pulled her purse away. The robbers fled into nearby woods.
DUNOON RD., 1100 block, 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 27. A residence was entered by breaking a rear sliding glass door. Nothing was reported stolen.
FEATHERWOOD ST., 2000 block, 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. Nov. 25. Jewelry, a CD player, purses, a cell phone, a TV and a DVD player were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a side door.
HAMPTON HOLLOW, 3400 block, 1:50 to 2 a.m. Nov. 24. An attempt was made to enter a residence by lifting off a screen. Nothing was reported stolen.
HOWARD AVE., 4000 block, 7 p.m. Nov. 27 to 10 a.m. Nov. 28. Cash and cigarettes were stolen from a delicatessen entered by breaking a front window.
LOCKWOOD DR., 11400 block, 2 to 8 p.m. Nov. 26. DVDs and toys were stolen from a residence entered through a rear window.

NORTHWEST DR., 800 block, noon Nov. 27 to 8 p.m. Nov. 28. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered through a sliding glass door.
PINEY BRANCH RD., 9200 block, 7:05 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 26. Cash was stolen from a residence entered through a side window.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS
ROUTE 28 AND INTERSTATE-270, 3:53 a.m. Nov. 28. Police stopped a vehicle for a suspected traffic violation. A Germantown man, 30, was arrested and charged with auto theft, theft over $500 and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
BRICE RD., 1000 block, 9 p.m. Nov. 24 to 8 a.m. Nov. 25. Two aluminum wheels and two tires were stolen from a vehicle.
CRABB AVE., 200 block, 2:30 p.m. Nov. 28. Tools and a toolbox, a boat motor and a welder were stolen from a detached garage at a residence, entered by breaking a garage-door window.
GUDE DR. E., 1300 block, 11:50 p.m. Nov. 26 to 2:30 a.m. Nov. 28. A pair of shoes were stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a driver's side door.
LINDLEY TER., 2500 block, 1 a.m. Dec. 1. A Rockville man, 18, was arrested and charged with theft in connection with an incident at the above location.
MANNAKEE ST., 1 to 100 block, noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 26. A wallet was stolen from a purse.
MONTGOMERY AVE. E., 100 block, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 26. A purse was stolen from a vehicle.
RESEARCH CT., 1-100 block, June 17 to Nov. 25. Two vials of a narcotic were stolen from a locked cabinet.
ROCKVILLE PIKE, 100 block, 12:15 to 2:30 a.m. Nov. 25. Four projectors, 27 computers, one monitor and two DVD-CD players were stolen from an office building entered by using a key-card.
STONESTREET AVE. N., 400 block, 4:10 p.m. Nov. 23 to 6:32 a.m. Nov. 25. Three laptop computers, a projector and gas cards were stolen from offices at the above location, entered by prying office doors with a screwdriver.
TWINBROOK PKWY., 12900 block, 4:40 to 7 p.m. Nov. 27. Cash, a wallet and a jacket were stolen from a bench in a gym.
WILSON AVE., 700 block, 11:45 p.m. Nov. 25 to 7 a.m. Nov. 26. Cash, a CD player, a cell phone, CDs and a black leather jacket were stolen from a vehicle entered through a passenger-side door.

CARROLL AVE., 7600 block, 2:30 to 4:20 p.m. Dec. 2. A 1989 Toyota Camry was stolen.
HOUSTON AVE., 600 block, 8 a.m. Nov. 25 to 8 a.m. Nov. 27. A 1994 Dodge Caravan was stolen.
MAPLE AVE., 7500 block, 5 p.m. Nov. 25 to 7 a.m. Nov. 26. A 1991 Toyota Celica was stolen.
WESTMORELAND AVE., 6600 block, 8:30 p.m. Nov. 29 to 7:45 a.m. Nov. 30. An attempt was made to steal a 1997 Honda Accord, damaging the vehicle. Property from inside the vehicle was stolen.
CARROLL AVE., 7300 block, Dec. 4. A man was arrested and charged with credit card fraud.
FLOWER AVE., 8000 block, 3:15 a.m. Dec. 4. Officers responded to a commercial burglar alarm and found a front window of a business had been broken and property had been stolen.
NEW HAMPSHIRE AVENUE, 7 p.m. Dec. 4. Officers responded to a report of two men attempting to use fraudulent checks, saw two men leaving a business and pursued them. A man was arrested. No charges were reported filed and an investigation was continuing.
NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 7500 block, Dec. 4 to 7:30 a.m. Dec. 5. Property was stolen from a building entered by breaking a window.
PINEY BRANCH RD., 7500 block, 5:30 p.m. Nov. 29 to 8 a.m. Dec. 2. Property was stolen from a building entered by breaking a window.
