The three-time All-Extra Golfer of the Year shot a 10-over-par 154 to finish 13th at the Virginia AA golf tournament, capping an accolade-filled career. Pike is a two-time All-Met Golfer of the Year and won three district individual championships, including this year's Dulles District tournament with an even-par 71. Won the Virginia AA title and helped to lead the Panthers to the team title as a junior. Plagued by back trouble this season, he found his swing late in the year and advanced to the state tournament as an individual after a 3-over 74 for third place at the Region II tournament. Has accepted a scholarship to play for Old Dominion University.
With his team seemingly out of contention for the district title, Laycock guided the Raiders into a three-way tie with Potomac Falls and Loudoun Valley before the Dulles District tournament. There, the Raiders finished second to the Panthers and advanced to the Region II tournament.
Dan Hebert, Stone Bridge, Jr. -- Started the season as the Bulldogs' No. 2 golfer, but the steely performer twice won playoffs for sixth and final qualifying spots for the Region II and Virginia AA tournaments. His 18-hole average was 77.
Dan Hurley, Loudoun County, Sr. -- Shot 75 to finish second in AA Dulles District tournament to qualify for the Region II tournament for the second time. There, he carded a 78.
Sara Hurwitch, Potomac Falls, Fr. -- Won a playoff to finish second behind Chantilly senior Jenny Suh in the inaugural Virginia girls' open championships. Shot a 7-over 78 to help the Panthers to the Dulles District tournament team title.
A.J. Krick, Liberty, Sr. -- Shot a par 71 as medalist at AA Northwestern District and finished eighth in Region II. The four-time All-Extra had a 72.5 average.
Joey McLister, Loudoun County, Sr. -- Tied teammate Hurley at 78 in the Region II tournament and finished fourth in the Dulles District tournament with 77.
Joe Megless, Highland, Jr. -- Carried a 38.2 nine-hole average to lead the Hawks to an undefeated season and a Delaney Athletic Conference regular-season title.
