Boating COURSE SERIES: The 2003 U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary boating course will begin with registration for "Boating Skills and Seamanship," 6:30-8:30 p.m. Jan. 9 in Room C-01 at Great Mills High School. Classes begin Jan. 14 and run every Tuesday and Thursday through Feb. 25. The course will meet Maryland requirements for boating safety certification for people born after July 1, 1972, while operating a motorized vessel on Maryland waters. Cost: $40.
