FORESTDALE AVE., 3500 block, 10 p.m. Dec. 20 to 9:30 a.m. Dec. 21. A vacuum cleaner and a coat were stolen from a car at a house.

KELSO DR., 4500 block, 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 19. Cash was stolen from a house.

KUMAR RD., 13100 block, 12:30 a.m. Dec. 20. A front bumper was stolen from a car at a house.

SHAMUS CT., 5300 block, 11:07 to 11:08 a.m. Dec. 18. Cash was stolen from a house entered by kicking a front door.

WRANGLER LANE, 14300 block, 11:45 p.m. Dec. 17 to 7:45 a.m. Dec. 18. An air bag was stolen from a car at a house. The vehicle was entered by breaking a window.

DILLINGHAM SQ., 12400 block, 7:30 p.m. Dec. 21. Cash was stolen from a restaurant.

LOMOND DR., 8200 block, 8 a.m. Dec. 6 to 4 p.m. Dec. 22. A toolbox and tools were stolen from a car.

EDGEWOOD AND SUNNY KNOLL DRIVES, 4:58 p.m. Dec. 18. Four males robbed a 13-year-old boy of a video camera.

WATERWAY DR., 5000 block, 6:20 p.m. Dec. 18. A gunman robbed a 34-year-old female clerk of cash in a store.

THOMASSON CROSSING DR., 3700 block, noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 19. Two VCRs, stereo equipment and CDs were stolen from a house.

GORDON BLVD., 13300 block, 9:50 a.m. Dec. 22. A man armed with a knife robbed a 43-year-old female clerk of cash in a motel.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CRIDERCREST PL., 13600 block, 2 to 8 a.m. Dec. 22. Stereo equipment and CDs were stolen from three cars at a house. The vehicles were entered by breaking and forcing windows.

FOREST GLEN RD., 13000 block, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Dec. 20. A camera, jewelry, video games and boots were stolen from a house entered by breaking a window.

FOXLAIR DR., 2900 block, 6 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 23. A safe and cash were stolen from a house.

G ST., 13000 block, 8:19 p.m. Dec. 20. Cash was stolen from an auto parts store entered by breaking a door window.

HORIZON CT., 2000 block, 1 p.m. Dec. 20 to 12:01 a.m. Dec. 21. Computer equipment and DVDs were stolen from a house.

HORNER RD., 1300 block, 7:57 p.m. Dec. 21. A safe was stolen from a business entered by breaking a window.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY., 13400 block, 2:23 a.m. Dec. 20. A tobacco shop was entered by breaking a window, and an alarm sounded. Police arrived and saw two men fleeing empty-handed.

POTOMAC MILLS CIR., 2700 block, 9 p.m. Dec. 22 to 12:08 a.m. Dec. 23. Clothing, jewelry, a cell phone and other property were stolen from a car at a shopping plaza. The vehicle was entered by breaking a window.

REDBUD CT., 1300 block, 5 to 9:15 p.m. Dec. 23. Stereo equipment was stolen from a house entered by cutting a window screen.

ROBBERIES

MAPLE ST., 9200 block, 11:48 a.m. Dec. 20. A masked gunman ordered a 52-year-old vending machine route driver to get back into his delivery truck. The driver called out for help, and witnesses called police. The gunman fled empty-handed.

MATHIS AVE., 9000 block, 12:58 p.m. Dec. 18. A man grabbed a purse from a 53-year-old woman entering a store and fled with another man.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ANTIQUE WAY, 9100 block, 8 p.m. Dec. 20 to 11 a.m. Dec. 21. Tools and four wheels were stolen from a car.

CENTREVILLE RD., 9000 block, Dec. 19 to Dec. 20. Four chain saws were stolen from an unlocked shed in the rear yard of a house.
