HOMICIDES

WEST VIRGINIA AVE., 1600 block, 1:46 a.m. Dec. 17. Jason Perry, 19, of the 1200 block of North Capitol Street NW, was found in a yard with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at 9:35 a.m. at the scene.

ROBBERIES

AMES ST., 4900 block, 11:40 a.m. Dec. 19. Two males approached a woman getting out of her car in a parking area. One implied that he had a weapon, and they took her car.

BRYANT ST., 1000 block, 4 to 5 p.m. Dec. 9. Several teenagers argued with two girls walking home from school. The girls were sprayed with pepper and punched and kicked in the head and robbed of a purse and papers.

EADS ST., 6000 block, 11:15 p.m. Dec. 17. A car pulled up alongside a male pedestrian, and a man with a handgun got out and forced the pedestrian to lie down, then took his coat, wallet, watch and papers.

EASTERN AVE., 900 block, 8:43 to 8:46 p.m. Dec. 14. A male with a silver handgun forced a woman and an acquaintance out of a car and told them to leave a car key and a purse behind. The gunman and an accomplice took the items and fled.

FORT TOTTEN DR., 4800 block, 11:15 p.m. Dec. 18. A male teenager approached a woman who had just gotten out of her car in a parking area and told her to give up her purse or he would shoot her. He then struck her on the head, took her purse and fled.

H ST., 1100 block, 8:45 p.m. Dec. 18. A male armed with a gun forced a convenience store employee to open a cash register. The gunman and a male accomplice took money while another male stood by the front door.

KENILWORTH AVE., 700 block, 4:30 to 4:40 p.m. Dec. 16. A male took a pedestrian's jacket at gunpoint and fled in a white four-door Toyota Camry driven by another person.

LEVIS ST., 1500 block, Dec. 14. A person took property from another person after hitting the person on the head with a handgun.

MEADE ST., 4500 block, 4:45 a.m. Dec. 14. A male with a handgun got out of a red Lincoln Navigator that had pulled alongside a pedestrian. He forced the pedestrian to lie on the ground and took a license, two bank cards, a leather jacket, a brass key chain and a cell phone, then fled in the vehicle.

MEIGS PL., 1200 block, 12:30 p.m. Dec. 17. A male approached a pedestrian in an alley and said, "You owe me for my car," then snatched the pedestrian's purse and fled.

MINNESOTA AVE., 4000 block, 8:15 to 8:20 p.m. Dec. 17. A male with a silver handgun robbed a person in a parking area of a wallet and fled with an accomplice in a red two-door Chrysler LeBaron.

NEW YORK AVE., 2300 block, 9:02 p.m. Dec. 16. A male pointed a handgun at a customer window at a restaurant and told an employee, "Empty the register or I'll shoot you." After taking cash, the gunman said, "Go to the second register and give me all the big bills." The gunman took the money and fled.

QUARLES ST., 4500 block, 11 p.m. Dec. 13 to 5 p.m. Dec. 15. A man pushed a female acquaintance onto a car and took keys and cash from her coat pocket, then took her inside her apartment and hit her.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 600 block, 5:05 p.m. Dec. 16. Two males punched a person and took money at gunpoint.

RITTENHOUSE ST., 200 block, 4:40 to 4:41 p.m. Dec. 16. A male with a knife and a male accomplice took a wallet and papers from a male pedestrian, 48, and fled.

N ST., 1-100 block, 12:47 p.m. Dec. 18. A male took a wallet from a pedestrian at gunpoint and fled.

FOURTH ST., 2100 block, 9:55 p.m. Dec. 16. A man got out of a vehicle's front passenger seat, pointed a semiautomatic at a male pedestrian's face and said, "You know what it is, don't turn around." The gunman took an Eddie Bauer jacket and a wallet, then fled in the vehicle.

FOURTH ST., 5200 block, 6 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 13. Four males approached two women, ages 58 and 65, in an alley. One held an unidentified object to the head of one woman and said, "Give it up now." After taking a purse, cell phone and papers, the assailants fled on foot.

SIXTH ST., 500 block, 10:50 p.m. Dec. 16. A male approached a female pedestrian and said, "Excuse me, miss." He then pulled out a knife and grabbed her purse. After a struggle, the pedestrian screamed and a witness shouted, and the attacker fled empty-handed.

NINTH AND KEARNY STREETS, 6 p.m. Dec. 18. A male with a handgun robbed a pedestrian of a wallet, traveler's checks, credit cards and a driver's license, then told the pedestrian to "Walk away and start running."

11TH ST., 4900 block, 3 a.m. Dec. 14. A male teenager armed with a knife, accompanied by another person, stabbed a male pedestrian and robbed him of cash and a wallet.

14TH ST. AND MARYLAND AVE., 10:30 p.m. Dec. 17. Two males robbed a male pedestrian of a wallet and credit cards at gunpoint.

14TH ST., 2200 block, 8:36 p.m. Dec. 17. A man with a handgun told two pedestrians, "Give it up. As a matter of fact, get on the ground." He and a male accomplice robbed them of an Eddie Bauer jacket, a cell phone and car keys. The gunman fired a shot before the robbers fled. No injuries reported.

61ST ST., 400 block, 5:10 p.m. Dec. 15. A male approached a female who was getting out of her car and said, "I want your car, give up the keys." She gave him the keys, and he took the car.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BLADENSBURG RD., 2000 block, 11 p.m. Dec. 14 to 8:20 a.m. Dec. 16. A restaurant was entered by breaking a front glass door. An employee drove up to the building and saw a male inside, who also saw him. The intruder fled in a vehicle. Nothing was reported stolen.

BLAINE ST., 5300 block, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 13. A residence was entered by removing plastic from a broken window and reaching inside and unlocking the front door. A 29-inch Zenith television was stolen.

BRENTWOOD RD., 1200 block, 2:13 a.m. Dec. 15. A person in a D.C. government building heard someone on the roof trying to enter. The suspect then fled to 1241 W St., where he broke into a building. A 32-year-old male was arrested.

C ST., 800 block, 8 a.m. to 8:05 p.m. Dec. 16. Make-up, clothing and earrings were stolen from a residence entered through a rear window.

CRITTENDEN ST., 1000 block, 9:20 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. Dec. 16. Video games and other property were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

H ST., 900 block, 3:35 a.m. Dec. 15. Two males stole property from a store, which they entered by knocking a hole in a wall.

HAYES ST., 3700 block, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 18. An apartment was entered by breaking a kitchen window. Nothing was reported missing.

HOLBROOK ST., 1100 block, 7:15 a.m. to 9 p.m. Dec. 12. A computer monitor was stolen from a residence entered through a basement window.

MARNE PL., 4200 block, 6:15 to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 13. Three diamond rings were stolen from a residence entered by prying a rear door open.

MEIGS PL., 1200 block, 3 to 5:45 p.m. Dec. 13. Video games, a DVD player, videotapes and other property were stolen from a residence entered by going through a hatch in the roof of an adjacent building and breaking a dividing wall.

MOUNT OLIVET RD., 1000 block, 12:10 a.m. Dec. 14. A stereo was stolen from an apartment entered through a window.

VARNUM ST., 1200 block, 2 p.m. Dec. 14. Cameras were stolen from a building entered through the front door.

20TH ST., 200 block, 4 a.m. Dec. 11 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 13. A residence was ransacked after it was entered by forcing rear doors.

36TH ST., 100 block, 9:27 p.m. Dec. 17. A male was stabbed in the abdomen during a fight with three men who forced their way into his apartment after arguing with him. Three men, ages 28, 23 and 22, were arrested.

46TH ST., 1100 block, 9:45 to 9:49 p.m. Dec. 13. A woman entered a residence by breaking a pane of glass in a rear door, then took a knife from the kitchen, threatened to kill an acquaintance and cut the person on the leg. A 46-year-old female arrested.

50TH PL., 500 block, 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 17. A male allegedly entered the home of a relative and took a Panasonic VCR, a Samsung microwave oven and video-game equipment.

62ND ST., 200 block, 7:30 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. Dec. 16. Video-game equipment was stolen from a residence entered by kicking a rear basement door.

KENNEDY ST., 600 block, 9:09 a.m. Dec. 13. An unidentified male was found in an alley with incision wounds and blunt force trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

DELAFIELD PL., 2:25 p.m. May 20. A man sexually assaulted a person in a house.

EMERSON ST., 3 p.m. Oct. 26. A man sexually assaulted a person in a house.

K ST., 3:40 p.m. Dec. 19. A man sexually assaulted a female in a house.

WARDER ST., 12:01 a.m. Sept. 1. A boy sexually assaulted a person in a house.

BELMONT ST., 1800 block, 2:30 to 2:35 a.m. Dec. 14. A vehicle blocked a cab in an alley. Two males got out and robbed the driver and passengers in the cab of cash at gunpoint.

CARROLL ST., 100 block, 8 a.m. Dec. 18. Two masked men, one armed with a gun, entered a drugstore and robbed an occupant of cash.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 5000 block, 3:08 to 3:09 p.m. Dec. 15. A man and a woman entered a grocery store and snatched property from a counter.

DECATUR ST., 1600 block, 12:10 p.m. Dec. 13. A man armed with a knife and a male youth robbed a 37-year-old woman at a bus stop of cash.

FORST STEVENS DR., 1400 block, 12:55 p.m. Dec. 13. A male teenager snatched a purse from a pedestrian.

GEORGIA AVE., 3100 block, 8:19 to 8:29 p.m. Dec. 16. Three male teenagers robbed a 29-year-old male pedestrian of a wallet. One of the teens punched the male in the chest.

GEORGIA AVE., 3300 block, 9:03 p.m. Dec. 14. A man snatched property from a 58-year-old woman in a parking area. An arrest was made.

GEORGIA AVE., 6100 block, 1:35 p.m. Dec. 16. A man tackled a 38-year-old woman entering her vehicle and robbed her of a purse.

GEORGIA AVE., 6300 block, 2:15 a.m. Dec. 19. A man armed with a knife robbed a 21-year-old woman at a gas station of cash and a cell phone.

HARVARD ST., 1400 block, 6:45 p.m. Dec. 8. A man grabbed a purse from a 23-year-old female pedestrian.

HARVARD ST., 1600 block, midnight Dec. 12 to 12:05 a.m. Dec. 13. A male teenager tackled a male pedestrian and robbed him of cash from his wallet. The teenager fled with another male.

JEFFERSON ST., 800 block, 6 to 6:05 a.m. Dec. 17. A male armed with a gun forced a 24-year-old male from his vehicle and drove away in the car.

KALORAMA RD., 1600 block, 2 a.m. Dec. 18. A man armed with a knife robbed a male pedestrian of cash.

KILBOURNE PL., 1800 block, 11:30 p.m. Dec. 18. A masked male armed with a gun robbed a 25-year-old female pedestrian of cash.

L ST., 1800 block, 1:50 p.m. Dec. 12. A man distracted a male entering a building, and another male robbed him of property from his rear pocket.

M ST., 3200 block, 7:45 to 7:50 p.m. Dec. 16. A man asked a sales clerk in a store to show him a jacket, then snatched the jacket. Three other men also took jackets, and all four fled in a car.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 3000 block, 2:30 p.m. Dec. 16. A male teenager took a purse from a 67-year-old woman's car after helping her carry groceries from the vehicle to her frontporch.

NEW YORK AND NEW JERSEY AVENUES, 9:45 a.m. Dec. 13. A gunman attempted to rob two pedestrians of cash. The man punched one of the pedestrians in the face.

O ST., 3400 block, 12:25 a.m. Dec. 14. A man grabbed a female pedestrian and robbed her of a purse and property from her pockets.

OTIS PL., 800 block, 9 p.m. Dec. 14. A gunman robbed a 40-year-old male pedestrian and a 41-year-old male pedestrian of cash. He then forced them into a vehicle occupied by a male accomplice, and the victims were driven to three banks and forced to withdraw money from automated teller machines. The victims were released, and the robbers fled in the vehicle.

PARKWOOD PL., 1400 block, 2:40 p.m. Dec. 14. A man snatched property from a 69-year-old female pedestrian.

Q ST., 1700 block, 2:10 a.m. Dec. 16. Two people grabbed a male pedestrian by his neck, dragged him and robbed him of a wallet.

QUINCY ST., 1300 block, 5:20 to 5:25 p.m. Dec. 13. A man grabbed a purse of a 47-year-old female pedestrian. She resisted, and he dragged her until she released the purse.

R ST., 1600 block, 2:50 to 2:52 a.m. Dec. 18. A man armed with a knife and a gun robbed a pedestrian of a wallet.

RANDOLPH ST., 900 block, 10:40 p.m. Dec. 13. Two men asked a 54-year-old female pedestrian for directions. One of the men punched her in the face, knocked her down and robbed her of property from her pocket.

SPRING RD., 1400 block, 8:10 p.m. Dec. 14. Three males, one armed with a gun, robbed a 46-year-old male pedestrian of a wallet.

T ST., 900 block, 8:10 to 8:15 p.m. Dec. 18. A man robbed a male pedestrian of jewelry after selling him a pair of gloves. The man fled with another male.

T ST., 1200 block, 11:15 p.m. Dec. 18. A male armed with a knife robbed a female pedestrian of a purse.

UPSHUR ST., 300 block, 8:03 p.m. Dec. 18. A man beat a 30-year-old male pedestrian and robbed him of property.

V ST., 1300 block, 6:05 p.m. Dec. 13. Several people surrounded a male pedestrian, and a male teenager demanded his jacket, knocked him down and fled empty-handed with the group.

WEBSTER ST., 700 block, 12:50 p.m. Dec. 16. A male teenager armed with a knife robbed a 17-year-old female pedestrian of a purse, and another male teenager pushed her down.

WISCONSIN AVE., 1300 block, 6:10 p.m. Dec. 14. A man snatched a purse from a female in a hotel hallway.

WISCONSIN AVE., 5300 block, 2:20 to 2:25 p.m. Dec. 14. A person bumped a female on an escalator, and she discovered a wallet was missing from her purse.

SECOND ST., 1800 block, 11:50 to 11:51 p.m. Dec. 12. A female snatched a cell phone from a female pedestrian.

SECOND ST., 5900 block, 12:10 p.m. Dec. 15. A man demanded keys from an 87-year-old man. The victim gave up the keys, and the robber took his vehicle.

FOURTH ST., 6300 block, 1 p.m. Dec. 13. A male teenager asked a female pedestrian for money. She said she had none, and he snatched her purse and fled.

SIXTH ST., 1100 block, 8:35 p.m. Dec. 19. A male armed with a gun demanded wallets from two pedestrians. The pedestrians screamed and fled.

SIXTH ST., 1700 block, 7 p.m. Dec. 16. Two males entered a restaurant through a rear door and opened a front door for two other males. One of the males displayed a knife and robbed an occupant of cash.

NINTH ST., 11:50 a.m. Dec. 12. Two men armed with knives robbed a 19-year-old male pedestrian of cash and a Sony Walkman.

10TH ST., 3500 block, noon Dec. 15. Two men, one armed with a gun, robbed a 26-year-old male pedestrian of a wallet. One of the men punched the pedestrian, and they fled in a vehicle.

12TH ST., 1900 block, 10:13 p.m. Dec. 19. A man armed with a knife demanded cash from a female pedestrian. A witness picked up a brick to threaten the robber, and the robber placed the knife to the throat of the female. She attempted to grab the knife and was cut on the hand. An arrest was made.

13TH AND E STREETS, 1:45 p.m. Dec. 18. A man sat next to a female in a restaurant, placed his coat over her coat and took property from her pockets.

14TH ST., 1400 block, 8:10 to 8:15 a.m. Dec. 19. A man sexually assaulted a 28-year-old female pedestrian during an attempt to rob her of her purse.

14TH ST., 3300 block, 10:35 a.m. Dec. 14. A man snatched property from a 65-year-old woman in a liquor store.

14TH ST., 6000 block, 11:30 p.m. Dec. 15. A male armed with a knife robbed a 49-year-old male pedestrian of a cell phone, punched him in the face and fled with three others.

15TH ST., 800 block, 6:40 p.m. Dec. 15. A man who claimed to have a gun robbed a pedestrian of property.

16TH ST., 3700 block, 9:40 to 10 p.m. Dec. 18. A gunman robbed a female pedestrian of a purse. A witness attempted to help her, and the man struck the witness in the head with the gun and fled.

17TH AND Q STREETS, 2:10 a.m. Dec. 13. A man beat a pedestrian and robbed the pedestrian of a purse. The man fled with another male.

17TH ST., 2500 block, 8:45 p.m. Dec. 17. A male teenager offered to sell marijuana to a male pedestrian, who refused and walked away. Two other male teenagers then approached, and the three teenagers forced the pedestrian to the ground and took his coat and other property.

18TH STREET AND COLUMBIA ROAD, 11:45 a.m. Dec. 16. A male grabbed a female getting out of a cab and snatched her bag, which contained a cell phone.

TRENTON PL., 1800 block, 7:07 p.m. Dec. 15. Latasha Fenwick, 27, of the 1800 block of Trenton Place SE, was found in an apartment with a gunshot wound to the back. She was taken to Howard University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 7:48 p.m.

LANGSTON PL., 12:01 a.m. Nov. 24 to 9:38 p.m. Dec. 8. A male juvenile sexually assaulted another male juvenile at a residence.

ROBBERIES

BARNABY ST., 700 block, 1 to 1:35 p.m. Dec. 11. A man with a handgun waited in the rear passenger seat of a 31-year-old man's vehicle, then robbed him of property.

C ST., 5400 block, 1:39 to 1:40 p.m. Dec. 13. Two males, one with a handgun, robbed two pedestrians of cash.

GOOD HOPE RD., 2300 block, 6 p.m. Dec. 17. A man offered a man a ride, and when they reached the destination, the passenger produced a revolver, demanded cash from the driver, forced him out and fled in the car.

KNOX ST., 2700 block, 2:55 p.m. Dec. 19. Three male juveniles kicked and punched a 17-year-old male pedestrian, then took property from him and fled.

LIVINGSTON RD., 4600 block, 4:45 to 4:48 p.m. Dec. 13. A male with a revolver robbed a 25-year-old female pedestrian of property.

M ST., 1000 block, 2:20 p.m. Dec. 14. Two people, one with a handgun, got into a vehicle at a service station while the owner was putting air in the tires and fled in it.

MINNESOTA AVE., 3600 block, 3:30 to 3:45 p.m. Dec. 12. A man struck a male relative during an argument, took cash from his hand and two coats from a closet and fled.

PENNSYLVANIA AVE., 2300 block, 1:50 to 1:52 a.m. Dec. 18. Several people approached a male in a vehicle at a traffic light, and he was hit on the head with an unidentified object, pulled from the vehicle and robbed of it.

ROBINSON PL., 2700 block, 5:30 p.m. Nov. 29. A female punched a 37-year-old woman and took her vehicle, which was recovered.

L ST., 1-100 block, 12:30 a.m. Dec. 15. Three people approached two pedestrians from behind, took property from their pockets and fled.

VARNEY ST., 1000 block, 4:03 a.m. Dec. 15. Three males and another person robbed three male juveniles and a woman at gunpoint of a cell phone, a leather case, two Eddie Bauer coats and boots.

SIXTH ST., 4200 block, 1:15 to 1:17 p.m. Dec. 14. A man asked a female if he could use her vehicle. When she said no, he pushed her down and drove away in the vehicle.

SEVENTH AND E STREETS, 6:20 p.m. Dec. 14. Two men produced a handgun and demanded cash from a cabdriver who had given them a ride from Union Station. The driver escaped from the vehicle, and the two men fled in it. The vehicle was recovered.

SEVENTH ST., 500 block, 9:40 to 9:50 a.m. Dec. 14. A man grabbed a person, then attempted to strike the person when he was pushed away. He then produced a Buck knife and took property from the person's pocket.

EIGHTH ST., 3000 block, 8:30 to 8:31 p.m. Dec. 16. Five people, one with a handgun, robbed a 61-year-old male in an alley of property.

NINTH ST., 3800 block, 10:30 to 11:30 p.m. Dec. 17. Two men, one with a handgun, ordered a male juvenile into the back seat of his vehicle, then demanded cash from him while his vehicle was being driven. They took property from him and the trunk, then fled on foot.

IVANHOE ST., 5:30 to 6:30 a.m. Dec. 13. A man sexually assaulted a 20-year-old woman at a residence.

ROBBERIES

G ST., 400 block, 5:30 p.m. Dec. 13. A male juvenile demanded cash from a female unloading groceries from her vehicle. When she said that she had none, the youth threatened to kill her, demanded the keys to the blue 2002 Toyota Camry and fled in it.

IVANHOE ST., 100 block, 5:10 p.m. Dec. 14. Two males, one with a shotgun, robbed a 30-year-old male pedestrian of property.

M ST., 200 block, 11:30 p.m. Dec. 14. A male passenger in a cab threatened the driver at gunpoint, and a female passenger took property from the driver's pockets. The man then showed a knife and robbed the driver of money and cut the driver on the throat. The robbers fled. The driver was treated at George Washington Hospital and released.

MAINE AVE., 100 block, 3:50 p.m. Dec. 19. A man got out of a vehicle, snatched a purse from a woman and pushed her down, then fled in the vehicle with another male.

GALVESTON ST., 1-100 block, 2:45 a.m. Dec. 14. A man with a handgun demanded cash from a 40-year-old male pedestrian, then fled without taking property.

THIRD ST., 700 block, 12:40 p.m. Dec. 14. A female juvenile demanded car keys from a female pedestrian. The pedestrian told her the keys were in her residence, and the girl told her she had a gun. The female asked to see the gun, and the girl fled.

SIXTH AND M STREETS, 9 p.m. Dec. 13. A female juvenile with a knife demanded cash from a pedestrian, who refused. The juvenile then walked away with two other females.
