CALIFORNIA AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CALIFORNIA, 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 30. A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked at the Western Steer.

GREAT MILLS AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

LITTLE GIRL WAY, 11 p.m. Dec. 25 to 9:45 a.m. Dec. 26. A window was broken on a vehicle, and toys and tools were stolen.

LEONARDTOWN AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MERION CT., 8 a.m. Dec. 23 to 2:15 p.m. Dec. 29. A horseshoe was used to break a window on a vehicle. A radio was stolen.

ST. ANDREW'S CHURCH RD., 1:23 a.m. Dec. 29. Two men, ages 25 and 29, stole cash, handguns and ammunition from Southern Maryland Firearms. They were charged with two counts of theft of more than $500, three counts of having a handgun in vehicles and possession of marijuana and related paraphernalia. The 25-year-old man was additionally charged with related motor vehicle law violations. The 29-year-old man was additionally charged with being a rogue and vagabond.

ASSAULTS

ERIC RD., 8 p.m. Dec. 27. A woman, 37, assaulted another woman at a residence and was charged with second-degree assault.

LEXINGTON PARK, 6 p.m. Dec. 26. A man, 24, assaulted a woman at a residence. He was charged with second-degree assault.

LEXINGTON PARK, 3 a.m. Jan. 2. A man, 23, assaulted a woman, 21, at a residence. During processing at the detention center, the man destroyed an over-head sprinkler, causing the booking area to flood. He was charged with second-degree assault, property destruction and failure to appear.

MECHANICSVILLE AREA

MECHANICSVILLE, 6 p.m. Dec. 23. A woman, 31, assaulted a man at a residence. She was charged with second-degree assault.

WEST WINSTON DR., Dec. 23. A male youth, 16, assaulted two males at a residence. He was charged with second-degree assault.

POCAHONTAS DR., 11 p.m. Dec. 21 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 22. Two plastic candy cane lamps were stolen from the front yard of a residence.

ASSAULTS

PARK HALL, Dec. 24. A man, 24, assaulted a woman at a residence. He was charged with second-degree assault.

VALLEY LEE AREA

ARSON

HAPPYLAND RD., 12:23 a.m. Jan. 1. A two-story wood frame house was set on fire.
