ASSAULTS

SOUTH HENRY AND GIBBON STREETS, 1:50 p.m. Jan. 14. A man driving a stolen green 1998 Cadillac was pursued by a police officer, who ordered the man out of the car when he stopped at a traffic light. The motorist tried to drive away, hitting the officer's vehicle. The Cadillac's outside mirror struck the officer. The man drove into the District, crashed the car and fled on foot. With assistance from Alexandria and District officers and a Fairfax County police helicopter, the suspect was found hiding behind a dumpster. A man, 22, was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer, grand theft auto, speeding to elude and driving with a suspended license.

ROBBERIES

EXECUTIVE AVE., 3800 block, 8:20 p.m. Jan. 9. As a woman approached two men, ages 32 and 40, two other men wearing ski masks demanded money from the men at gunpoint. The victims complied. The woman fled with the two robbers.

KING ST., 3600 block, 8:40 a.m. Jan. 15. A man in a white Honda asked a female pedestrian, 53, a question, and as she approached, he grabbed her purse. The robber fled in the car with another male.

NORMANDY HILL DR., 200 block, 1:25 p.m. Jan. 16. Two men called a man about a car he was selling, then went to his apartment. After the car owner let the two men inside, they restrained him and robbed him of cash.

RIPLEY ST. N., 300 block, 2 p.m. Jan. 9. A man grabbed a purse from a woman, 72, who was waiting for a bus.

WYTHE ST., 1300 block, 7:25 p.m. Jan. 16. A gunman robbed a male, 27, of his green 1991 Honda Accord station wagon.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BRAGG ST. S., 100 block, 10 p.m. Jan. 15 to 6:30 a.m. Jan. 16. Cash and other property were stolen from a hotel room.

EDSALL RD., 6200 block, 12:01 a.m. Dec. 28 to 11:30 p.m. Jan. 9. A storage bin was entered by prying open a latch. Nothing was reported missing.

EISENHOWER AVE., 4500 block, 4 p.m. Jan. 15 to 6:35 a.m. Jan. 16. Cash and construction tools were stolen from a business entered by forcing open a door.

ROSEMONT AVE. E., 100 block, 8 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. Jan. 15. Cash, jewelry and other property were stolen from a residence.

ARMISTEAD ST. N., 500 block, 10:45 p.m. Jan. 13 to 7:15 a.m. Jan. 14. A black 2002 Ford Escort was stolen.

BEAUREGARD ST. N., 1500 block, 5 p.m. Jan. 16. A teal 2000 Hyundai Tiburon was stolen.

BRADDOCK RD. W., 1500 block, 6 p.m. Jan. 9. A blue 2001 Cadillac DeVille was stolen.

BRUCE ST., 3900 block, 8 p.m. Jan. 14 to 7 a.m. Jan. 15. A silver 1991 Ford Escort station wagon was stolen.

FLORENCE DR., 3:45 p.m. Jan. 15. A black 1997 Honda Civic was stolen.

FLORENCE DR., 3800 block, 6:30 p.m. Jan. 14 to 6 a.m. Jan. 15. A blue 1994 Honda Civic was stolen.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY., 3700 block, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 14. A maroon 1990 Toyota Camry was stolen.

RALEIGH AVE., 4200 block, 9 p.m. Jan. 15 to 5:45 a.m. Jan. 16. A blue 1998 Jeep Cherokee was stolen.

REED AVE. E., 1-100 block, 11 a.m. Jan. 12 to 11:20 a.m. Jan. 14. A black 1998 Honda Accord was stolen.

SEMINARY RD., 4600 block, 8 a.m. Jan. 16. A green 1995 Mitsubishi Galant was stolen.

ROBBERIES

COURTHOUSE RD. N., 1300 block, 9:10 p.m. Jan. 13. A man visiting a 62-year-old male acquaintance's apartment pulled out a gun, tied the acquaintance's hands and feet together, took the victim's wallet and fled.

OAKLAND ST. S., 1600 block, 12:15 a.m. Jan. 10. Two males got out of a vehicle, knocked a man, 31, off his bike and demanded money at gunpoint. After the victim gave them his wallet, the robbers kicked him in the head. The victim ran away.

THOMAS ST. N., 500 block, 11:08 p.m. Jan. 12. Two men robbed a male pedestrian, 31, of cash at gunpoint, then fled in a black Isuzu Rodeo.

FOURTH RD. N., 4400 block, 12:15 a.m. Jan. 13. A gunman got out of a dark sports utility vehicle and ordered two male pedestrians, 27 and 38, into the vehicle. The victims refused, but gave the gunman cash. The robber fled in the vehicle with another man.

28TH ST. S., 1400 block, 1:50 a.m. Jan. 12. Two males robbed a male pedestrian, 28, of cash at gunpoint.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

COLONIAL TER., 1600 block, 8:30 a.m. to 8:59 p.m. Jan. 9. A residence was entered by forcing open a front door. Nothing was reported missing.

FOUR MILE RUN DR. S., 4100 block, 4 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 10. Thirty CDs, two pairs of basketball shoes, cuff links and a pair of jeans were stolen from an apartment entered through an open side window.

HAYES ST. S., 1600 block, 9:05 a.m. to 6:09 p.m. Jan. 13. Jewelry, a jewelry box and a portable CD player were stolen from a residence entered by forcing open a front door.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY., 2300 block, 4 p.m. Jan. 8 to 8 a.m. Jan. 9. A laptop computer, a digital camera and postage stamps were stolen from an office.

KENT ST. N., 1600 block, 6:30 p.m. Jan. 8 to 7 a.m. Jan. 9. Three laptop computers and a green shoulder bag were stolen from an office.

LINCOLN ST. N., 2400 block, 2 p.m. Jan. 11 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 12. Home Depot gift cards were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in a garage.

MILITARY RD. N., 2800 block, 4:30 p.m. Jan. 10 to 9:45 a.m. Jan. 13. A power saw was stolen from a house entered by forcing open a front door.

WILSON BLVD., 1500 block, 11:30 p.m. Jan. 7 to 7 a.m. Jan. 8. Two laptop computers and two computer docking stations were stolen from an office entered through a rear fire door.

EADS ST. S., 1900 block. A gold 1997 Mazda 626 was stolen.

FILLMORE ST. S., 1700 block. A brown 1987 Nissan Maxima was stolen.

GEORGE MASON DR. S., 1500 block. A white 1986 Toyota Camry was stolen.

JOYCE ST. S., 1500 block. A gray 1989 Toyota Camry was stolen.

NELSON ST. S., 1300 block. A black 1988 Jaguar XJ6 was stolen.

THOMAS ST. N., 300 block. A tan 1994 Honda Accord was stolen.
