CHESAPEAKE BEACH AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ST. ANDREWS DR., 6:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 30. A rear sliding glass window was broken and a residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

DUNKIRK AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CARTER AVE., 7 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 1. A chain saw and case were stolen from the bed of a parked truck.

ROUTE 4 AND TOWN CENTER WAY, 11:49 a.m. Jan. 28. A man, 32, was stopped for speeding. Investigation revealed the license plates on the vehicle were stolen. He was charged with theft less than $500.

HUNTINGTOWN AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

STINNETT RD., Jan. 29. Three saws and a drill were stolen from a house under construction.

PRINCE FREDERICK AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

PRINCE FREDERICK, 1 to 5 p.m. Jan. 16. A BMW hood ornament was stolen from a vehicle parked at the Calvert Nursing Center.

SKIPJACK RD., 9 p.m. Feb. 1 to 7 a.m. Feb. 2. A box trailer containing a Ford Maverick Tube Chassis race car, a Honda four-wheeler and two toolboxes was stolen from a parking lot. The trailer and its contents were found in Pennsylvania, destroyed by fire.
