ROBBERIES

COLLEGE PKWY. E., 700 block, 3:17 a.m. Jan. 30. A man implied that he had a weapon and robbed a convenience store of cash after forcing a clerk to remove cash drawers from two registers and to lie down on the floor. The robber fled in a vehicle.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ADMIRAL COCHRANE DR., 100 block, 5:30 p.m. Jan. 28 to 8:19 a.m. Jan. 29. Cash was stolen from a business entered by forcing a front door.

ADMIRAL COCHRANE DR., 100 block, 7 p.m. Jan. 28 to 8:19 a.m. Jan. 29. A business was entered by forcing a front door. Nothing was reported missing.

BARRY AVE., 1-100 block, 11 p.m. Jan. 29 to 4 p.m. Jan. 30. Liquor, musical instruments and a radio were stolen from a residence entered with a key.

CAPE ST. CLAIRE RD., 1300 block, 4:15 p.m. Jan. 29 to 3:45 p.m. Jan. 30. Cash and IDs were stolen from a business.

HARNESS CREEK RD., 3200 block, 1:30 to 6:30 a.m. Jan. 29. A residence was entered through an unlocked basement door. Nothing was reported missing.

HOUSLEY RD., 2500 block, 2 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 27. Cash was stolen from a business entered by forcing a rear window.

BALTIMORE AREA

ROBBERIES

HIGHLAND AVE., 400 block, 9:30 p.m. Feb. 3. Two men, one armed with a gun, robbed two pedestrians of their wallets and fled. When the pedestrians followed the robbers, the gunman turned and fired a shot, then both men fled in a silver Taurus station wagon. No injuries were reported.

RITCHIE HWY. N., 5500 block, 1:03 a.m. Feb. 4. When the manager opened the rear door of fast-food restaurant to remove trash, a gunman forced his way inside and ordered all the employees to lie down on the floor. The gunman told the manager to fill a brown paper bag with cash, then robbed the manager of cash from his wallet. The gunman then led the manager into the office area and demanded that he open a safe. When the safe could not be opened, the manager and the employees were forced to walk into a cooler. After 20 minutes, they left the cooler and called police.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BROOKWOOD RD., 4900 block, 6 p.m. Jan. 31 to 9 a.m. Feb. 1. Tools were stolen from a residence entered by breaking an upper window.

STAHL POINT RD., 100 block, 1 to 2 p.m. Feb. 1. Clothing was stolen from a business entered by forcing a front door.

CROFTON AREA

ROBBERIES

DEFENSE HWY., 2200 block. A male wearing a black skull cap handed a note to a teller and robbed a bank of cash.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ROUTE 3 N., 1700 block, 3:30 p.m. Jan. 30. As the result of an investigation into identity theft and credit card fraud, police arrested an 18-year-old Crofton man and recovered merchandise obtained from two stores. During the investigation, police learned that a man had been using county library computers to place fraudulent Internet orders. The Crofton man was charged with theft, four counts of credit card fraud and two counts of identity theft.

EDGEWATER AREA

FIREARMS

SOUTH RIVER RD., 1-100 block, 1:25 a.m. Feb. 1. After an altercation, a man was told by security personnel to leave a bar. The man then told security that he was going to "find his clip," and security called police. A few minutes later, several shots were fired into the air from a vehicle, which was then driven away. Three shell casings were recovered from the scene. No injuries were reported.

ROBBERIES

FOREST DR., 2300 block, 11:55 p.m. Feb. 2. A male entered a video store just before closing and picked up a few games and DVDs. When told by an employee to make his final selection, the man revealed a gun in his waistband, took cash from cash registers and forced employees into the office. He took cash from the safe, forced the manager to remove a surveillance video camera, bound the employees with duct tape and left.

FRIENDSHIP RD., 200 block, 5:30 p.m. Jan. 29. An all-terrain vehicle was stolen from a residence entered through a front door.

GLEN BURNIE AREA

KIDNAPPINGS

HILLCREST RD., 1300 block, 6:44 p.m. Feb. 3. Police responding to a call discovered a woman who had been beaten and abducted, allegedly by two male acquaintances. The woman was treated at a local hospital for a black eye and bruises on her arm. Two males were arrested and charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment and second-degree assault.

RITCHIE HWY., 6600 block, 12:45 p.m. Feb. 3. A gunman robbed a business of cash and fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HOSPITAL DR., 300 block, 7:15 p.m. Feb. 1. Food was stolen from a business entered by cutting a door lock.

NABBS CREEK RD., 800 block, 3:08 p.m. Jan. 27. Liquor was stolen from a business entered by forcing a side wall.

OVERHILL RD., 7700 block, noon to 1:05 p.m. Jan. 30. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a basement window.

POLK CIR., 6400 block, 9:15 to 11:25 a.m. Jan. 30. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a rear door.

POLK CIR., 10 a.m. Jan. 31. In the Heritage Hill community, police observed a male trying to enter a residence by forcing a rear sliding glass door while another male stood as lookout. Police arrested the male suspected as being a lookout. A 19-year-old Glen Burnie man was charged with burglary. A short time later, police arrested a 17-year-old male hiding in an apartment on Warwickshire Lane and charged him as a juvenile in connection with five recent burglaries in the community.

RIDGEWATER CT., 7300 block, 1:15 a.m. Jan. 27. A residence was entered by forcing a front door. Nothing was reported missing.

RITCHIE HWY. S., 7500 block, Jan. 30. Cash and a cash register were stolen from a business entered by breaking a front window.

WB&A RD., 7500 block, Jan. 20 to Feb. 1. A bicycle and lawn equipment were stolen from a residence entered through a side door.

SIXTH ST., 1000 block, 9:38 p.m. Jan. 27. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

CHESAPEAKE MOBILE PARK, 11:52 p.m. Feb. 4. A man attempting to enter his residence was robbed of his wallet by a gunman and two male accomplices.

PARKWAY DR., 7200 block, 6:30 p.m. Jan. 31 to 7:30 a.m. Feb. 1. TVs were stolen from a building entered through an unlocked side door.

LAUREL FORT MEADE RD., 3300 block, 10:16 p.m. Jan. 30. A male implied that he had a weapon and robbed a gas station of cash.

LAUREL FORT MEADE RD., 3400 block, 11:49 p.m. Jan. 28. Cash and telephones were stolen from a business entered by breaking a side window.

LAUREL FORT MEADE RD., 3400 block, 2 to 8:45 a.m. Jan. 29. Cash was stolen from a business entered by breaking a side window.

LAUREL FORT MEADE RD., 3400 block, 3:14 a.m. Jan. 27. A cash register was stolen from a business entered by breaking a side window.

LAUREL FORT MEADE RD., 3600 block, 3:19 a.m. Feb. 1. Two gunmen robbed a gas station of cash.

MOUNTAIN RD., 2600 block, Jan. 26 to Jan. 27. A white 1988 Suzuki was stolen.

FOREST RD., 500 block, 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 27. A radio, a VCR and video games and equipment were stolen from a residence entered through a rear door.

SEVERN AREA

ASSAULTS

PIONEER DR., 7:44 p.m. Jan. 31. A male stood in the street yelling profanities and stopped a motorist. When the motorist attempted to get out of his vehicle, the male punched him in the jaw, knocking his head into a door. The male then pulled out a knife and cut the motorist on the hand before fleeing. The motorist suffered a small cut on his right hand and a lump on the back of his head.

BOULDER CT., 1400 block, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 27. Cash and audio recordings were stolen from a residence.

OLD TELEGRAPH RD., 7700 block, 2 to 2:04 a.m. Jan. 27. Property was stolen from a business entered by breaking a side window.
