MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

AUTO DR., 12400 block, 10:49 a.m. Feb. 4. A vehicle from a car dealership was recovered in the district before it was reported stolen.

ROBBERIES

CARVED STONE, 7100 block, 12:32 a.m. Jan. 30. A man behind a bowling alley demanded cash at gunpoint from a person coming out of a back door of the alley, then took cash and fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BRUNNERS RUN CT., 9100 block, 3 to 10 p.m. Jan. 28. Cash and beer were stolen from a residence.

COLUMBIA GATEWAY DR., 7000 block, 7:49 p.m. Jan. 31. Two males entered an office building by prying open a rear door to a cafeteria, then fled when a security guard approached.

COLUMBIA GATEWAY DR., 6900 block, 8:36 p.m. Jan. 31. An attempt was made to enter a computer room of an office building by prying open a front door.

GUILFORD RD., 8500 block, 10 p.m. Feb. 3 to 7 a.m. Feb. 4. Cash was stolen from a collection display inside a church entered by breaking a rear window.

GUILFORD RD., 9100 block, 6 p.m. Feb. 3 to 8:30 a.m. Feb. 4. Two laptop computers were stolen from a business entered by prying open a rear door.

HUNTING LANE, 10600 block, 2 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 2. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by smashing a rear window.

PARALLEL LANE, 6200 block, 2 to 10 p.m. Feb. 2. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered through a rear sliding glass window.

FOLLY QUARTER RD., 13100 block, 3:36 a.m. Feb. 2. A 1995 Honda Accord was stolen.

MAJORS LANE, 6000 block, 7 a.m. Jan. 31 to 5:15 a.m. Feb. 1. A white 1993 Lincoln Continental was stolen.

MAJORS LANE, 6000 block, 12:55 to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 1. A white 2001 Ford was stolen, then recovered in the 5600 block of Harpers Farm Rd. Two Columbia males were arrested.

OAKLAND MILLS, 7100 block, 10:11 p.m. An attempt was made to steal a vehicle.

STANFORD BLVD., 6 p.m. Jan. 29 to 9 a.m. Feb. 4. A silver 2002 Kia Optima was stolen.

STEVENS FOREST RD., 5700 block, 1:59 a.m. Jan. 30. A gold Ford station wagon was stolen.

VANTAGE POINT RD., 5500 block, 5:17 p.m. Jan. 29. A green 1970 Chevrolet Camaro was stolen.

ASPERN DR., 6600 block, 7 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. Feb. 3. Jewelry and video games were stolen from a residence entered through a rear bedroom window.

SANTA BARBARA CT., 6700 block, 9:15 p.m. Jan. 31 to 8 a.m. Feb. 3. Two computer monitors were stolen from an office. There were no signs of forced entry.

SANTA BARBARA CT., 6600 block, 5:30 p.m. Feb. 3 to 6:45 a.m. Feb. 4. A cell phone and a safe containing cash were stolen from a business entered by using a glass-cutter to remove a window.

KIT KAT RD., 7100 block, noon Jan. 30 to 12:30 Jan. 31. A white 1989 Chevrolet Van was stolen.

MAYFIELD AVE., 7800 block, 6 p.m. Feb. 3. A vehicle was stolen.

TROY HILL DR., 7000 block, 10 p.m. Jan. 30 to 9 a.m. Jan. 31. A white 2003 Dodge Ram was stolen.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

ROUTES 175 AND 29, 3:01 p.m. Jan. 28. A man in a vehicle exposed himself to a female in another vehicle who called 911 from her cell phone. A 30-year-old man was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ANNAPOLIS RD., 9400 block, 2:15 a.m. Feb. 3. A man on the roof of a liquor store attempted to gain entrance into the business. He saw an owner of the store, then got down and fled in a small Honda. The owner called police and gave them the tag number of the vehicle. A 21-year-old man was arrested.

TRIADELPHIA RD., 12400 block, 1:46 p.m. Feb. 4. Two males entered a residence, ransacked it, took property and were seen leaving in a Dodge Caravan. Police stopped a van matching the Dodge's description at Triadelphia Road and Route 144, but it pulled away when an officer approached. Police chased the van until it became stuck in mud on the median of Route 29. Items belonging to the owner of the residence were recovered. Two males were arrested.

ELKO DR., 8100 block, 9 p.m. Feb. 2 to 7:21 a.m. Feb. 3. A white 1993 Honda Civic was stolen.

MONTGOMERY RUN RD., 8300 block, 9 p.m. Feb. 2 to 7:15 a.m. Feb. 3. A green 1997 Acura Integra was stolen.

LIME KILN RD., 11800 block, 2:35 to 2:45 a.m. Jan. 29. An attempt was made to enter a convenience store.

SCAGGSVILLE RD., 12700 block, 4 p.m. Feb. 4. A man entered the residence of an acquaintance through a back door and took the rear door of a residence and took a 22-month-old relative. Police in Montgomery County were alerted and a 34-year-old man in a vehicle at New Hampshire Avenue and Randolph Road was arrested in connection with the incident.

RIGGS HILL RD., 10600 block, 7:15 p.m. Jan. 30 to 8 a.m. Jan. 31. A white 1994 Ford F150 pickup truck was stolen.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 8100 block, 2:50 p.m. Jan. 29. A 1996 Chrysler Sebring was stolen.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 6 p.m. Jan. 30 to 6:30 a.m. Jan. 31. A white 1998 Ford F250 pickup truck was stolen.

WATERLOO RD., 7700 block, 12:01 a.m. Jan. 22 to 9:26 a.m. Jan. 30. A silver 2002 Chevrolet Malibu was stolen.

ALL SAINTS RD., 9200 block, 4:36 a.m. Feb. 2. Two people with knives in a grocery store parking lot accosted a female as she got out of her vehicle, took her purse and fled.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 10100 block, 5:34 a.m. Feb. 4. A male with a large knife in an adult video demanded cash. A clerk opened a register and the robber took cash from the drawer. He also took a cordless phone, then fled in a large white van.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

HITCHING POST LANE, 9100 block, 10 p.m. Jan. 30 to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 31. A green 1999 Dodge Van was stolen.

HUNTSHIRE DR., 6500 block, 4 a.m. Jan. 31. Lottery tickets were stolen and an attempt was made to take an ATM using a dolly from a convenience store. LIVERY LANE, 9200 block, 8:27 p.m. Feb. 3. A white 1990 Honda Accord was stolen.

OLD COLUMBIA RD., 8400 block, 6:20 a.m. Jan. 29. An attempt was made to enter a golf driving range.

SCAGGSVILLE RD., 10500 block, Feb. 3. A motorcycle was stolen from a residence. Several people saw a male riding the vehicle and it was recovered and returned to its owner. A juvenile was arrested.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 10100 block, 6:45 a.m. Jan. 30. The front window of a business was smashed. Nothing was reported stolen.

CABOT CT., 9300 block, 3 a.m., Jan. 30. A red 2002 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was stolen.

CANTERBURY RIDING, 9300 block, 6:21 a.m. Feb. 5. A 1997 Saturn was stolen.

HOMESTEAD CT., 9600 block, 4:52 p.m. Jan. 29. A black 1991 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was stolen.

TRADERS CROSSING, 9200 block, 1:46 a.m. Feb. 5. A 1994 Saturn was stolen.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 9700 block, 8:56 p.m. Jan. 28. A car wash was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 9300 block, 6 p.m. Jan. 30 to noon Jan. 31. An attempt was made to steal a silver 2003 Ford F150 pickup truck.
