Flowers and Northwestern are both jockeying for position among the top four teams for seeding in the 4A South Region tournament.

Friendly at Bladensburg, Friday, 7: Friendly entered the week with the Prince George's 3A/2A/1A League title in hand. The Patriots' quest for an undefeated season continues against Bladensburg, which is led by the inside-outside duo of junior forward Darsean Johnson (16.4 ppg) and senior guard Chris Nichols (14.7 ppg).

DuVal at Forestville, Friday, 7: Defending Maryland 2A champion DuVal entered the final week of the regular season having won nine of its past 10 games. Forestville, which defeated DuVal in last year's regular season finale, entered the week having won six of its past seven since a seven-point loss to the Tigers on Jan. 21.

Largo at Oxon Hill at Run n' Shoot, Friday, 7: Largo junior guard Cierra Fletcher scored on a layup with two seconds remaining as the Lions handed Oxon Hill its only loss in 4A League play, 61-59 on Jan. 17. The Clippers since have won seven in a row entering this week to move closer to the top seed in the 4A South Region.
