STUDENTS IN THE NOH -- 8 p.m. today-Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. "Black Tuesday" is an original play by students Bill Tengel, Abigail Estes, Debra J. Clough and Desmond Aldridge. Using the Japanese Noh style, a form that uses masks and conveys somber subject matter, the four attempt to capture the mood of America after Sept. 11. Dramatic Arts instructor Holly Blumner also directs two comic interludes in the Kyogen style, "Delicious Poison" and "Tricked by a Rhythm," depicting the mischievous antics of servants Taro Kaja and Jiro Kaja.
