Why should voters elect you?
"In filling the seat held by the late Charles Monroe, Arlington voters must choose the candidate who shares their values. As a County Board member, I will work to protect the special character of Arlington's neighborhoods and will put community concerns first. I will lead new efforts to create after-school and mentoring programs for children and create more open spaces, parks and trails. I will vote to cut the property tax rate this year in a fiscally responsible manner. For years, I have worked in neighborhoods throughout Arlington, bringing people together to find common-sense solutions."
What would you like voters to know about you?
"I immigrated to the United States at the age of 13. I am a community-builder with a track record of turning Arlington's diversity into strength."
