Amy Bush, Sr., OF, Broadneck:

Had 21 assists last year and finished with a .492 batting average and just 5 errors. She also stole 21 bases and had an on-base percentage of .562.

Tracey Dahlen, Soph., SS, Chesapeake:

Led the Cougars in several categories, including a .434 batting average, 13 stolen bases and 17 RBI. Defensively, Dahlen had 59 putouts and committed 5 errors for a fielding percentage of .922.

Lauren Haag, Sr., SS, Severna Park:

The Falcons' only returning senior, Haag has been the leadoff hitter since she was a freshman. Coach Jeff Shepherd said she is the hardest working player he has ever coached.

Danielle Martinez, Jr., C, North County:

An all-county honorable mention last year, Martinez hit .400 with 8 doubles, a triple and a home run. She had a .977 fielding percentage with 4 errors.

Beth Mullins, Soph., P, North County: Pitched her team to the 4A state championship with a 14-2 record, 135 strikeouts and an ERA of 1.50 in 107 innings. Offensively, Mullins hit .315, with 8 doubles, 5 triples, 2 home runs and 16 RBI.

North County catcher Danielle Martinez, above, was an honorable mention all-county pick last season, while teammate Beth Mullins went 14-2 with a 1.50 ERA for the 4A champions.
