Shani Boone, Douglass, Sr. -- Fourth in Maryland 3A last year in the 200 (25.74) and the area's top finisher in 3A in the 100 (12.98), as well as the anchor of the third-place 4x200 and the fifth-place 4x400. Finished second at this year's 3A/2A indoor state meet in the 55 dash (7.44) and the 300 (39.80) -- the third-fastest time of any classification.
Leif Crago, Bowie, Sr. -- Runner-up at the Maryland 4A meet last year in the shot put and the top returning discus thrower after finishing fifth (152 feet 3 inches) last year. Recorded the D.C. area's second-longest shot put (58-51/2) of the indoor season at the Montgomery County Invitational.
Michaylin Golladay, Largo, Fr. -- Impressive rookie indoor season included a runner-up finish in the 55-meter dash (7.28) at the Maryland 4A/3A meet, behind senior teammate Natalie McKenzie. Also was fourth in the 300 dash (41.16) and ran a leg of the state-champion 4x200 relay.
Nathandra John, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jr. -- Finished third (41.15) in the 300 at the Maryland 4A/3A meet; shored up a leg of the 4x400 that had to reload after losing two seniors but ran the nation's fastest indoor flat-track time (3:50.59) to win the Nike Indoor Championships.
Aaron Marshall, Bladensburg, Sr. -- After placing fourth in the county in the 300 in only his second year of track, he won the 3A/2A 300 in 35.54 -- the fastest of any classification -- and was second in the 500 (1:07.20).
Isaac Matthews, Oxon Hill, Sr. -- One of the top two returning runners from last year's Maryland 4A meet in which he placed fourth in the 1,600 and fifth in the 800. He won the 800 (1:58.15) at the Maryland 4A/3A indoor meet and ran the D.C. area's fastest 800 (1:56.43) this season at the Hispanic Games in New York.
