SPRING EGG HUNTS, for grades 2-5, hunt for colorful eggs, play games, plus other activities, 10 a.m.-noon April 12 (rain date, April 19), co-sponsored by the Elkridge Adult Athletic Association, at the following locations; preregistration required:

SENIORS ROOSEVELT ISLAND TRIP, for ages 55 and older, a bus trip, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. April 15, including a walking tour led by a ranger, who will discuss the history of Theodore Roosevelt, the 36th president, and the island (two-miles long of uneven pathways), with a late lunch at Tom Sarris Orleans House in Rosslyn; wear comfortable shoes; bird watchers may bring binoculars; call for departure points in Howard County. $31; preregistration required. 410-313-7279.
