The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority has installed a new digital video security and surveillance system to enhance security at Washington Dulles International Airport. The Loronix Networked Video Solution, created by Verint Systems Inc., a digital video security and surveillance company in Woodbury, N.Y., provides better video picture quality and better management of retained video for subsequent review and analysis.

Cathay, American

Code-Sharing

Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific has begun code-sharing with American Airlines and its American Eagle affiliate on flights between Hong Kong and 20 U.S. airports, including Dulles, National and Baltimore-Washington International Airport.

Aer Lingus Flying

From BWI Again

Aer Lingus, the national air carrier of Ireland, which suspended service from BWI after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, resumed operations from BWI to Shannon and Dublin airports last Sunday.

Direct service to Shannon with continuing service to Dublin will operate daily except Tuesdays and Saturdays. Flights will depart BWI at 8:10 p.m., arriving in Shannon at 7:45 a.m. and Dublin at 9:15 a.m. Return flights will leave Dublin at 1:30 p.m., arrive at Shannon at 2:15 and depart for BWI at 3:15, arriving at 5:55 p.m.

Pan Am Adds

Hyannis Service

Pan Am is increasing daily nonstop service to Martha's Vineyard and has added new service to Hyannis, Mass., from BWI.
