ROBBERIES

FANNON ST., 2300 block, 10:45 p.m. March 28. A robber entered a gas station convenience store, grabbed a male clerk, 44, and demanded money. The robber fled with cash in a green sport utility vehicle.

MOUNT VERNON AVE., 1000 block, 8:45 p.m. March 31. A male grabbed a female pedestrian, 40, implied that he had a weapon and demanded money. The robber fled with cash.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

EISENHOWER AVE., 2100 block, 5 p.m. March 31 to 5:03 a.m. April 1. A business was entered by breaking a front glass door. Nothing was reported missing.

HENRY ST. N., 900 block, 1:30 p.m. March 29 to 7:45 a.m. March 30. Electronic equipment was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked window.

KING ST., 1700 block, 7:15 p.m. March 24 to 3 p.m. March 26. A small table was stolen from a business.

KING ST., 4200 block, 8 p.m. April 1 to 11 a.m. April 2. A laptop computer was stolen from a business entered by forcing open a side window.

ST. ASAPH ST. N., 600 block, 7:20 p.m. April 1 to 7 a.m. April 2. A fur coat was stolen from a business entered by forcing open a front door.

WASHINGTON ST. S., 1100 block, 6 p.m. March 21 to 1:45 p.m. March 31. Furniture was stolen from a residence entered by forcing open a front door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

ARMISTEAD ST. N., 400 block, 3 to 6 p.m. March 26. A blue 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen.

GUNSTON RD., 3200 block, 7 p.m. April 1 t 6 p.m. April 2. A dark green 1997 Honda Accord was stolen.

VALLEY DR., 3600 block, 11:30 p.m. April 1 to 7:55 a.m. April 2. A beige 1997 Honda Accord was stolen.

VAN DORN ST. N., 2600 block, 11 p.m. April 1 to 8 a.m. April 2. A gold 2000 Triumph motorcycle was stolen.

ROBBERIES

COLUMBIA PIKE, 1500 block, 7:30 p.m. April 1. Three males approached a man, 26, at a bus stop and asked him for money, then punched and stabbed him. The assailants took the victim's wallet and fled.

FOUR MILE RUN DR. S., 4600 block, 6:28 p.m. March 31. Three males wearing masks and armed with knives demanded money from two 38-year-old males. One of the victims struggled with two of the robbers, while the other victim ran to a nearby building followed by the third robber. The three robbers eventually fled. Nothing was reported taken.

SCOTT ST. S., 1200 block, 12:52 a.m. March 30. A male wearing a mask entered an elevator and demanded money from a woman, 26. The robber took cash from her purse and left.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FAIRFAX DR. N., 6900 block. A license plate was stolen.

GEORGE MASON DR. S., 1500 block, 9 p.m. March 30 to 8:30 a.m. March 31. An unsuccessful attempt was made to enter a residence by tampering with a door lock.

HAYES ST. S., 1100 block, 6:30 p.m. March 30 to 10 a.m. March 31. A metal cash box was stolen from a locked cabinet at a retail kiosk.

LEE HWY. N., 5200 block, 10:05 p.m. March 28. A male was throwing tires from a locked enclosure to a vehicle when police arrived. An Alexandria man, 23, was arrested and charged with burglary and grand larceny.

MADISON ST. N., 900 block, 7 a.m. to 6:53 p.m. March 31. An unsuccessful attempt was made to enter a residence by breaking a window next to a locked door.

VERMONT ST. N., 700 block. A license plate was stolen.

WASHINGTON BLVD. N., 2800 block, 7:45 p.m. March 31 to 10 a.m. April 1. A silver 2000 Nissan Altima was stolen from a lot after a business was entered by forcing a window and three vehicle keys were taken.

26TH ST. N., 4300 block, 9 p.m. March 27 to 8:45 a.m. April 1. Several jars of coins were stolen from a residence entered by forcing open a window. The home was ransacked.

28TH ST. S., 1400 block. A license plate was stolen.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

COLUMBIA PIKE S., 3200 block. A blue 1991 Nissan Sentra was stolen.

FOUR MILE RUN DR. S., 4000 block. A blue 1991 Nissan Sentra XE was stolen.

FIRST ST. S., 3700 block. A red 1984 Toyota cargo van was stolen.

25TH ST. S., 3500 block. A black 1998 Dively trailer was stolen.
