HOMICIDES

OWENS PL., 1200 block, 10:15 p.m. March 26. Keith Wright, 25, of the 1200 block of Owens Place NE, was found on a street with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to Washington Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:55 p.m.

BLADENSBURG RD., 1100 block, 3:30 a.m. March 24. Odell T. Smith, 23, of the 800 block of K Street NE, was found on a street with a gunshot wound to the neck. He was taken to D.C. General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

ROBBERIES

BENNING RD., 2600 block, 3:45 p.m. Feb. 27. Two males, one armed with a gun, robbed a male pedestrian of cash.

BLADENSBURG RD., 2800 block, 7:40 p.m. March 21. Three males approached a female pedestrian at a bus stop. As two sat on opposite sides of her, the male on her right pressed an unidentified object against her and demanded her purse. She complied, and the assailants fled.

BLAINE ST., 4400 block, 5:10 to 5:45 p.m. March 24. Two males in a vehicle asked a male pedestrian for marijuana. The pedestrian said no. He was then asked whether he had any money, and a male in the vehicle produced a shotgun. The pedestrian was ordered into the vehicle, robbed of a jacket and released.

CONSTITUTION AVE., 1700 block, 8:10 p.m. March 27. Three males knocked down a male pedestrian and robbed him of a wallet, credit cards and cash.

CORCORAN ST., 1700 block, 9 a.m. March 24. A gunman approached a male driver of a vehicle and forced him out of the vehicle and onto the ground. The robber took the driver's keys and fled in his vehicle.

E ST., 600 block, 7:15 a.m. March 25. A gunman approached a male pedestrian in an alley and demanded his cell phone and wallet. The pedestrian complied, then pulled out his police service weapon, causing the assailant to drop his gun and the wallet before fleeing.

FLORIDA AVE., 300 block, 2:25 p.m. March 27. Three males demanded money from a male pedestrian. The pedestrian was struck in the back of his head, and the assailants attempted to take his wallet. An off-duty police officer intervened, and the assailants fled.

FORT TOTTEN DR., 5100 block, 6 to 6:05 a.m. March 24. A male armed with a knife robbed a female pedestrian of her purse.

G ST., 900 block, 7:17 to 8:30 p.m. March 24. Two gunmen robbed a female pedestrian of a purse, cosmetics, credit cards and other property.

H ST., 700 block, 11:12 a.m. March 25. A gunman and an accomplice robbed a male of a vehicle.

H ST., 1300 block, 7:15 p.m. March 21. A male snatched cash from a male customer in a restaurant and fled.

NEW YORK AVE., 600 block, 12:29 a.m. March 21. A gunman entered a hotel and forced an employee to give up cash. The gunman fired a bullet before fleeing in a vehicle. No injuries were reported.

NORTH CAROLINA AVE., 1300 block, 6 p.m. March 24. A male and an accomplice unsuccessfully tried to snatch a purse and a briefcase from a female pedestrian, then fled.

QUEEN ST., 1100 block, 3 a.m. March 25. A gunman and a male accomplice robbed two pedestrians of property.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 1600 block, 9:40 p.m. March 21. Two gunmen and an accomplice robbed a female pedestrian of a purse.

SOUTH DAKOTA AVE., 5500 block, 6 p.m. March 3. A man, 35, demanded cash from a female relative. The female refused, and the man snatched her purse and fled in her vehicle.

SYCAMORE RD., 100 block, 6:25 to 6:27 p.m. March 24. Two males in a vehicle asked a male cyclist for marijuana. The cyclist said he did not have any, then was forced into the vehicle when a shotgun was shown. The cyclist was robbed of a coat and released.

TAYLOR ST., 200 block, 4:45 p.m. March 25. Four males assaulted a jogger and robbed the victim of a necklace.

WEST VIRGINIA AVE., 1700 block, 5:30 a.m. March 20. Two males wrestled a male pedestrian to the ground and took his wallet.

FIFTH ST., 700 block, 6:50 to 6:52 p.m. March 26. A male armed with a knife approached a female pedestrian from behind and demanded money. She surrendered her wallet, and the robber fled.

SEVENTH ST., 600 block, 7:20 p.m. March 21. A male snatched a purse containing a cell phone from a female pedestrian and fled in a vehicle.

10TH AND I STREETS, 11:20 p.m. March 18. Three males demanded money from a male pedestrian. When he said he did not have any, he was forced to the ground and assaulted. The robbers took the pedestrian's car keys and fled, searching for his vehicle.

12TH AND VARNUM STREETS, 3:20 p.m. March 23. A male driving a vehicle struck a female driver's vehicle. Both drivers got out of their vehicles, and the male produced a handgun, took a purse containing cash and credit cards and fled in his vehicle.

12TH ST., 3700 block, 12:07 a.m. March 21. A gunman approached a pizza delivery driver's vehicle and demanded that he not move. The driver fled in his vehicle.

19TH ST., 100 block, 8:20 p.m. March 27. Two males walked passed a male pedestrian, then one jumped on the pedestrian's back, forcing him to the ground. The pedestrian was robbed at knife point of a cell phone.

22ND ST., 3300 block, 8:15 p.m. March 21. Two males, one armed with a gun, approached a female pedestrian from behind and robbed her of a purse.

50TH ST., 200 block, 1:18 to 1:20 a.m. March 26. A male approached a male acquaintance removing property from a vehicle. The male produced a gun, took the vehicle's keys from the acquaintance and fled in the vehicle.

61ST ST., 400 block, 4 to 4:15 a.m. March 27. A gunman robbed a person of a vehicle.

CHANNING ST., 2200 block, 3 p.m. March 23 to 10:15 a.m. March 24. A vehicle was stolen from a parking area entered by cutting a lock.

CHILDRESS ST., 1300 block, 7 p.m. March 20. A residence was entered by kicking a rear door and ransacked. Nothing was reported missing.

FRANKLIN ST., 1900 block, 11:30 a.m. March 23 to 4 p.m. March 23. A violin and cash were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

GIRARD ST., 1700 block, 10 a.m. March 26 to 5:30 p.m. March 26. A digital camera, a laptop computer, jewelry and cash were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

H ST., 600 block, 2:45 p.m. March 20 to 11:30 a.m. March 24. A computer and monitor were stolen from an office building entered through a front door.

HUNT PL., 5500 block, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 27. Property was stolen from a residence. There were no signs of forced entry.

KENILWORTH AVE., 1000 block, 1 to 2 p.m. March 20. Gauges and hoses were stolen from a storage facility entered by cutting a hole in a fence.

KENILWORTH AVE., 1600 block, noon March 25 to 6:30 a.m. March 26. Property was stolen from an abandoned laundry business entered by cutting a lock on the front door.

LINCOLN RD., 2300 block, 10:30 p.m. March 23. Two gunmen entered a residence and robbed partygoers of purses, wallets and cell phones, then fled.

M ST., 1800 block, 11:50 p.m. March 22 to 12:25 a.m. March 23. A male forced open a front door of a residence and confronted a female resident, then pushed her down and fled.

MONROE ST., 2600 block, 5:40 to 6:55 a.m. March 22. A male and an accomplice forced open a door at a residence and assaulted a male resident, then fled. No property was reported taken.

MYRTLE AVE., 2800 block, 1 to 2:30 p.m. March 25. A video-game console, a laptop computer, video games, DVDs and watches were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

PARKER ST., 200 block, 12:45 to 5:15 p.m. March 22. Property was stolen from a residence entered by prying a rear gate and forcing a rear door.

T ST., 200 block, 8 p.m. March 21. A male approached a pedestrian entering a residence and demanded cash. The resident refused and went inside. The male kicked the door, then fled when the resident said the police had been called.

WEBSTER ST., 1600 block, 6 to 10:45 p.m. March 25. A video-game console was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

WEBSTER ST., 1700 block, 9:20 p.m. March 21. Two males rang the door bell of a residence as a female resident was using a telephone. Both males walked toward the rear of the residence and forced open a basement door, then ransacked the basement and fled.

FOURTH ST., 2600 block, 4 a.m. March 22 to 12:30 p.m. March 23. A combination lock, a tool case, a drill, a saw and a blade were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

SEVENTH ST., 2900 block, 5:30 p.m. March 19 to 9:30 a.m. March 21. A video-game console, a DVD player and two TVs were stolen from a residence entered by prying a lock on a front door.

SEVENTH ST., 2900 block, 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. March 27. Food and clothes were stolen from a residence entered by unknown means.

EIGHTH ST., 3100 block, 6 p.m. March 21 to 7:20 a.m. March 24. A vehicle and medications were stolen from a medical facility entered by cutting a security gate and breaking a window.

NINTH ST., 1000 block, noon March 13 to 7 p.m. March 21. A male entered a residence with keys and tried to remove an electrical heater, then fled when confronted by a witness.

17TH ST., 3500 block, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 24. Jewelry and cash were stolen from a residence entered by unknown means.

21ST ST., 1100 block, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. March 19. Property was stolen from a residence entered by unknown means.

21ST ST., 1100 block, 10:59 p.m. March 24. A male, 32, forced his way into a residence and was confronted by a resident. An altercation ensued, the police were called, and an arrest was made.

44TH ST., 1000 block, 8:20 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. March 26. A video-game console was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a window with a brick.

45TH ST., 1000 block, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 25. A 20-inch TV was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear window with a brick.

45TH ST., 1100 block, 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 24. Two intruders took a 30-inch TV from a residence and fled in a vehicle. They entered the home by breaking a rear window.

47TH ST., 1000 block, 7:30 a.m. to 7:41 p.m. March 24. A male took a stereo, CDs, DVDs, a laptop computer, a cordless phone, three leather coats, jewelry and other property from a residence entered through an unlocked window. He fled in a vehicle.

HOMICIDES

F ST., 900 block, 3:35 a.m. March 23. Donald Wayne Notice Jr., 32, of New York City, was found on a walkway with a stab wound. He was taken to George Washington University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:57 a.m.

ROBBERIES

BANCROFT PL., 2200 block, 10:22 p.m. March 20. Two male teenagers, one armed with a gun, approached a male pedestrian. The pedestrian shouted and ran, dropping property. Two arrests were made. Police returned the property to him.

BATES ST., 100 block, 10 a.m. March 23. Two men robbed a female of a bag and credit cards.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 4200 block, 11:43 p.m. March 21. A man snatched a wallet from a female pedestrian. A struggle ensued, and the man scratched the female on her hand.

F ST., 600 block, 7 p.m. March 18. A female in an elevator was bumped several times, and she discovered her wallet was missing.

F ST., 1300 block, 12:30 p.m. March 24. A woman bumped into a chair occupied by a female in a restaurant. The woman took a credit card and a check card from a purse hanging on the chair, and the victim asked the woman to return her property. The victim alerted the restaurant manager, and the woman and another female fled.

FULLER ST., 1600 block, 9:28 p.m. March 24. A male armed with a gun robbed a female pedestrian of a purse and fled in a vehicle with another person.

GEORGIA AVE., 3300 block, 1:29 a.m. March 27. Four males, one armed with a gun, entered a restaurant and robbed a person of property.

HARRISON ST., 4200 block, 10:45 p.m. March 21. Three people, one armed with a gun, robbed a male of cash and a vehicle key.

IRVING ST., 1800 block, 9 p.m. March 20. Three men, one who appeared to be armed with a weapon, robbed a male pedestrian of a wallet.

KENNEDY ST., 600 block, 9:46 p.m. March 21. Four men assaulted a male in a restaurant and robbed him of a cell phone.

LANIER PL., 1700 block, 8:15 p.m. March 24. A male armed with a gun robbed a female pedestrian of a watch and fled with another person in a vehicle.

O ST., 2900 block, 10:10 to 10:14 p.m. March 21. A man struck a male pedestrian in the head, and he and another man robbed the victim of cash and fled in a vehicle.

P ST., 1700 block, 12:10 a.m. March 22. A man attempted to grab a purse from a female. He punched her in the head, she fell, and he fled empty-handed in a vehicle.

PARK RD., 600 block, 3:40 p.m. March 22. A gunman robbed a pedestrian of cash.

Q ST., 4500 block, 10:20 to 10:25 p.m. March 21. Two men grabbed a purse from a female pedestrian and fled with another person. The purse was recovered.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 1400 block, 12:01 a.m. March 20. A man entered a motel, threatened an employee and took money from a cash register.

SUMMIT PL., 1700 block, 10:10 p.m. March 26. Two men, one armed with a gun, robbed a male pedestrian of property and fled with a third person in a vehicle.

UPSHUR ST., 1300 block, 6:55 p.m. March 22. Two male teenagers beat a pedestrian during an attempted robbery.

UPSHUR ST., 1700 block, 11:40 p.m. March 24. A male teenager armed with a gun struck a male pedestrian in the face during an attempt to rob him of cash.

V ST., 1400 block, 6 p.m. March 20. Three male teenagers approached a male entering his vehicle, and one snatched his keys and pushed him down. The teenagers fled in the vehicle, which was later recovered.

VARNUM ST., 500 block, 7 p.m. March 27. A man got out of a vehicle, displayed a gun and demanded cash from a 50-year-old male pedestrian and a 51-year-old female pedestrian.

SECOND PL., 5900 block, 10:10 p.m. March 21. A gunman robbed a female pedestrian of a purse and fled with another man.

THIRD ST., 4700 block, 2:45 p.m. March 21. A woman snatched jewelry from a pedestrian.

FOURTH ST., 4600 block, 5 to 5:05 p.m. March 6. A man grabbed a pedestrian and robbed the pedestrian of jewelry.

EIGHTH AND H STREETS, 9 p.m. March 1. A male who acted as if he were armed with a weapon approached a male pedestrian, and another male robbed the pedestrian of property.

14TH ST., 1800 block, 11:30 p.m. March 22. Two men, one armed with a gun, took property from two pedestrians in an alley. One then grabbed a cell phone from a victim and threw it down, saying he didn't want the victim to use it to call police.

15TH ST., 2300 block, 9:15 a.m. March 22. A man asked a male motorist entering a vehicle for directions. The man then threatened the motorist and robbed him of a wallet. The motorist flagged down a police car, and an arrest was made.

15TH ST., 2400 block, 10:45 a.m. March 23. A man armed with a knife robbed a male of cash in an elevator.

15TH ST., 2600 block, 6:10 p.m. March 23. A man asked a male pedestrian for the time. The man grabbed the pedestrian, struck him in the head and attempted to rob him of property from his pockets.

ASPEN ST., 1400 block, 10:50 p.m. March 21. A man entered a house and claimed to be a police officer. He ordered an occupant to lie on the floor, and a struggle ensued. The man took a TV and fled.

CHESTER ALLEY, 1300 block, 12:05 to 10:30 a.m. March 25. Tools and a bike were stolen from a storage area.

CLIFTON ST., 1300 block, 3 p.m. March 22 to 6:45 a.m. March 24. A fax machine was stolen from a building entered through a side door.

MAPLE VIEW PL., 9 a.m. Feb. 21. A male juvenile sexually assaulted a 4-year-old boy at a residence.

FIRST ST., 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 21. A male juvenile sexually assaulted a female juvenile at a residence.

FOURTH ST., 12:30 p.m. March 25. A man forced his way into a female acquaintance's apartment, struck her in the face and sexually assaulted her. A man was arrested.

12TH ST., 8:30 to 9 p.m. Jan. 14. A man sexually assaulted an 18-year-old female acquaintance at a residence.

BARNABY ST., 800 block, 3:20 a.m. March 23. A man struck a 48-year-old man at a residence on the head with a hammer, then a woman took his wallet.

C ST., 200 block, 10:30 p.m. March 22. A man held a sharp object to a male pedestrian's head and robbed him of a wallet, cash and credit cards.

DUBOIS PL., 4300 block, 4:35 p.m. March 26. A man with a handgun attempted to rob a female at a residence, then fled when she screamed.

GAINESVILLE ST., 3200 block, 1:30 to 1:35 a.m. March 22. A man with a handgun approached a person getting out of a vehicle in an alley and robbed him of property, then fled.

MALCOLM X AVE., 200 block, 1:30 p.m. March 22. A man with a handgun demanded cash from a 46-year-old male pedestrian. The victim kept walking, and the man grabbed and struck him.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 2900 block, 1:25 a.m. March 26. Two men, one with a semi-automatic, robbed a 47-year-old male pedestrian of cash and fled.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 3400 block, 1:20 a.m. March 26. Two men approached two male pedestrians, ages 46 and 50, walking from a Metro station. One man struck a pedestrian in the face, and the other produced a handgun and robbed the other pedestrian of property.

SAVANNAH ST., 1800 block, 6:20 p.m. March 22. A man struck a 34-year-old female and took her auto keys. A man was arrested.

YUMA ST., 800 block, 11:40 p.m. March 18. Two male juveniles robbed a 35-year-old woman of property at gunpoint.

FIFTH ST., 3400 block, 9:40 p.m. March 16. A man with a handgun demanded cash from a 29-year-old female pedestrian. He fled when she told him she had none.

10TH ST., 500 block, 7:55 p.m. March 21. A man with a handgun robbed a female at a residence of cash, keys, a purse, credit cards and a cell phone, then fled on foot.

54TH ST., 100 block, 8:35 a.m. March 19. A man with a handgun robbed a pedestrian of a purse, then fled through an alley.

ALABAMA AVE., 2800 block, 8:30 p.m. March 24 to 12:45 a.m. March 25. Nine cases of rum were stolen from a liquor store entered by breaking through a rear wall.

BUENA VISTA TER., 3100 block, 5:55 to 6:17 a.m. March 23. A TV/VCR unit, a cell phone, a Nintendo game and a microwave oven were stolen from an apartment.

BURNS ST., 700 block, 11:25 a.m. March 21. A female in a home observed a male acquaintance going toward her car with a knife and said she was calling police. The man then pulled a front door of the residence off its frame, entered the house, punched the female, cut her with the knife, broke a phone and fled in his vehicle.

CALL PL., 4900 block, 8:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 26. A video-game console was stolen from an apartment entered by forcing the front door.

CALL PL., 5300 block, 5:30 to 5:50 p.m. March 20. Property was stolen from an apartment entered through a front door.

CHESTER ST., 2300 block, 10 p.m. March 20 to 7 a.m. March 21. DVD equipment was stolen from a residence entered through a window.

D ST., 3300 block, 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. March 24. A rear door of an apartment was damaged in an unsuccessful attempt to enter it.

ELVANS RD., 2400 block, 3 a.m. March 21. A man attempted to enter a female acquaintance's apartment by forcing a window with a screwdriver.

G ST., 600 block, 8:30 to 9 a.m. March 24. A sander, saws and a boom box were stolen from a rear storage shed at a residence.

G ST., 1200 block, 11:20 p.m. March 20. A man attempted to enter an office by forcing plywood from a back window.

HALLEY TER., 3800 block, 4 p.m. March 21 to 7 a.m. March 22. A bathroom vanity, a hot water heater, an air compressor, a paint-spray gun and a saw were stolen from an apartment entered by cutting locks from the front door.

I ST., 1000 block, 8:30 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. March 21. A necklace was stolen from a residence entered by forcing the front door with a garden tool.

K ST., 1300 block, 12:50 a.m. March 27. Glass was pushed out of a window of a church.

L ST., 1300 block, 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. March 25. Property was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

LIVINGSTON RD., 4500 block, 5:30 p.m. March 24. Three TVs, a DVD player, a VCR, clothes, shoes and jewelry were stolen from an apartment.

M ST., 700 block, 6 p.m. March 20 to 6:05 a.m. March 21. A front door lock of a school was smashed.

PENNSYLVANIA AVE., 3200 block, 1:20 to 1:25 a.m. March 26. Cigarettes were stolen from a convenience store entered by breaking a hole in a side wall.

RAYNOLDS PL., 2300 block, 6 p.m. March 17 to 10 a.m. March 21. A residence was entered through a bathroom window, and a wall was destroyed.

SOUTH CAROLINA AVE., 1400 block, 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. March 25. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a rear door.

SOUTHERN AVE., 800 block, 8:30 a.m. March 19 to 10 a.m. March 22. An apartment was entered by kicking the front door, and the living room was ransacked.

SOUTHERN AVE., 5800 block, 6:53 a.m. March 27. A man entered an open bedroom window, then climbed back out when a resident screamed.

SECOND ST., 400 block, 9:05 a.m. to 8:05 p.m. March 21. A laptop computer, a stereo and a gold bracelet were stolen from a residence entered through a front door.

FOURTH ST., 4200 block, noon to 10:30 p.m. March 23. An apartment was entered by forcing a front-door lock, and the interior was ransacked.

EIGHTH ST., 200 block, 10 a.m. March 22 to 1:45 p.m. March 24. A residence was entered by kicking a door, and it was ransacked.

NINTH ST., 300 block, 7 a.m. March 23 to 7 a.m. March 24. A residence was entered by kicking a rear door. Clothing was moved, but nothing was reported missing.

12TH PL., 2500 block, 1:10 a.m. March 25. A church was entered by breaking front-door glass. A woman was arrested.

18TH ST., 1600 block, 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. March 21. A CD player was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

18TH ST., 1600 block, 10:13 a.m. to 6:50 p.m. March 23. An apartment was entered by breaking a front door, and it was ransacked. Nothing was reported missing.

18TH ST., 2600 block, 3:30 p.m. March 21 to 7 a.m. March 24. A cordless phone was stolen from a construction trailer entered by breaking a window.

24TH PL., 1700 block, 10 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. March 20. A TV and a video-game system console were stolen from a residence entered through a front door with recently stolen keys.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AVE., 4600 block, 9 to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 12. A man sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl in a vehicle in a parking lot.

ROBBERIES

JEFFERSON DR., 1300 block, 6:05 p.m. March 15. A man assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed him of cash.

M ST., 400 block, 8:40 p.m. March 19. Two male juveniles, one with a handgun, robbed a male of cash in a park.

M ST., 400 block, 12:15 a.m. March 22. A man grabbed a female pedestrian by the shoulder and demanded her purse. Two other people then approached, and one snatched the female's purse containing a driver's license and a bank card. The female was kicked, and they fled.

M ST., 400 block, 9:37 p.m. March 21. A man and a male juvenile robbed a man at gunpoint of cash in a parking lot.

N ST., 500 block, 7:15 p.m. March 26. Two men grabbed a female pedestrian's purse and struck her in the face when she resisted. They fled empty-handed.
