Aaron Carr, DeMatha, Soph.: Ranked 12th in the Mid-Atlantic Region of the U.S. Tennis Association and undefeated in singles and doubles (5-0) for the defending Washington Catholic Athletic Conference champions.

Patrick Moss, C.H. Flowers, Jr.: Top singles player for the Jaguars began the week undefeated. He is 5-0 in team competition.

Leon Vessels, DeMatha, Soph.: Ranked 17th in the Mid-Atlantic Region of the U.S. Tennis Association, is 5-0 in singles competition and has teamed with Carr to post a 5-0 mark in doubles play.

GIRLS

Whitney Ambush, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jr.: Raiders' No. 1 girls' singles player began the week 4-0. She was 9-0 last year at No. 2 singles.

Sumi Carter, Sr., and Kelley O'Klesso, Soph., Eleanor Roosevelt: The county's top doubles team is 3-0 this year after winning the county and Region III championships and finishing fourth at the state tournament a year ago

Melanie Hallock, Gwynn Park, Soph.: Top singles player for the four-time defending Prince George's 3A/2A/1A league champions.
