The Jewish Social Service Agency seeks volunteers, or "matzah messengers," to distribute baskets of food and other Passover items to area Jewish families in need. Volunteers can pick up baskets for delivery from 9 to 10 a.m. Sunday at the Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy, 1330 Arctic Ave., Rockville. To volunteer, call 301-816-2639. Families with young children are encouraged to volunteer. Children can make greeting cards for the basket recipients, then deliver the cards and baskets.
