HOLLYWOOD AREA

ASSAULT

MERVELL DEAN RD., 11:46 a.m. April 3. A man, 51, assaulted a woman at a residence. He was charged with second-degree assault.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

STEPHEN YOUNG CT., 3:10 p.m. April 3. A boy, 12, damaged property at a residence. He was charged with malicious destruction of property.

LEXINGTON PARK AREA

ASSAULT

GREAT MILLS RD., 1:45 a.m. April 9. A man, 45, punched a woman, 53, in the face and broke a mirror on her vehicle. He was charged with second-degree assault, resisting arrest and destruction of property less than $500.

NORTH ESSEX DR., 10:45 p.m. April 7. A man, 34, assaulted a woman at a residence. He was charged with second-degree assault.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

FAR CRY RD., 12:30 to 8:30 a.m. April 6. A vehicle at a residence was scratched.

MECHANICSVILLE AREA

ASSAULT

SHANNON CT., midnight April 3. A woman, 40, assaulted a man at a residence. She was charged with second-degree assault.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MECHANICSVILLE, 4:30 p.m. April 5. A man, 42, stole items from a residence and falsely reported a burglary and theft. He was charged with theft more than $500 and giving a false statement to a police officer.
