ANNAPOLIS AREA

ROBBERIES

ADMIRAL DR., 600 block, 1:06 a.m. April 3. A male told a male convenience-store clerk that he had a gun and had him put cash in a bag. Before leaving the store, he pulled up his shirt and revealed the gun, in his waistband, to a second clerk.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BESTGATE RD., 800 block, 1 to 8:31 p.m. April 5. A radio, TVs and a VCR were stolen from a residence entered through a back door.

DEFENSE HWY., 100 block, March 28 to March 31. Cash was stolen from a business.

RIVA RD., 2600 block, 6 p.m. April 4 to 11:30 a.m. April 6. Computer equipment was stolen from a business entered by forcing a front door.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

TRUMAN PKWY. S., 1-100 block. 4:50 p.m. April 5 to 7:50 a.m. April 7. A box truck was stolen from the Anne Arundel County headquarters library parking lot. At 10:09 a.m. April 8, the truck was seen on Route 214 near Pike Ridge Road in Edgewater, operating erratically. After police tried to stop it, a female passenger jumped out of the still moving truck on Riva Road. The truck then crashed into a tree on West Street. After a brief chase, police arrested a 35-year-old Centreville man. He was charged with motor vehicle theft, second-degree assault, driving while intoxicated, driving while under the influence of alcohol and drugs, multiple traffic offenses, and possession of a drugs and paraphernalia. A 32-year-old Edgewater woman was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

ARNOLD AREA

ROBBERIES

RITCHIE HWY., 1400 block, 1 p.m. April 6. Two men took meat from a grocery store. When confronted by the store manager, they implied that they had a weapon, then fled on foot.

ARDEN RD. W., 200 block, 5:10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. April 2. Antiques and computer equipment were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a window.

OLD RIVERSIDE RD., 300 block, 10 a.m. March 10 to 10 a.m. March 24. Appliances were stolen from a residence entered by removing a basement window.

14TH AVE., 300 block, 12:44 a.m. April 1. A residence was entered by forcing a basement window. Nothing was reported missing.

EASTHAM CT., 900 block, 11:14 a.m. April 3. A 19-year-old man was tackled by three gunman and robbed of his wallet and other items when he answered a knock at his apartment door.

CROFTON CENTER, 1600 block, 1:42 p.m. April 4. A male robbed a bank of cash.

ROUTE 3 S., 1300 block, 2 to 10 a.m. April 1. Liquor was stolen from a residence.

STOW CT., 2500 block, 6:30 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. March 31. Cash, jewelry, a radio, computer equipment and audio recordings were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear window.

ASSAULTS

WATER FOUNTAIN WAY, 100 block, 1:29 a.m. April 3. A 23-year-old man standing on an apartment balcony was shot three times in the chest by a male who fled in a Lexus with at least one male accomplice. The victim was taken to a local shock trauma center.

ROBBERIES

FAYWOOD CT., 100 block, April 2. A man wearing a black ski mask and armed with a knife robbed a man of cash then fled on foot towards Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard.

FREETOWN RD., 7900 block, 7:58 p.m. April 3. Two males who implied that they had a weapon robbed a woman on a wooded path near an elementary.

HOSPITAL DR., 300 block, 4:02 p.m. April 4. A gunman robbed a fast-food restaurant of cash. A police K-9 unit tracked him to an apartment complex but was unable to find him.

LINDA LEE DR., 7600 block, 2:30 to 3:10 p.m. April 6. Drugs, a radio, video games and equipment were stolen from a residence entered through a side door.

SUNNYBROOK CT., 900 block, 12:01 a.m. March 20 to 12:01 a.m. March 30. Jewelry, video games and equipment were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear window.

HOMICIDES

COTTAGE GROVE DR., 100 block, 11:12 a.m. April 4. A man confronted his estranged wife inside her residence, shot her and then turned the weapon on himself. The body of Eric Thomas Neisser, 36, of no fixed address, was discovered at the scene. Michelle Celeste Neisser, 34, of Pasadena was pronounced dead at North Arundel Hospital.

ARUNDEL RD., 100 block, 8 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. April 1. Cash and a safe were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a basement window.

BAY FRONT RD., 300 block, 5:30 a.m. to 6:25 p.m. March 31. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a front window.

CORALWOOD RD., 100 block, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. March 26. A residence was entered through a back door. Nothing was reported missing.

LOCUST DR, 1000 block, 7:45 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. April 1. Audio recordings and video games and equipment were stolen from a residence.

LOWTIDE CT., 7900 block, 12:05 a.m. April 6. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

MOUNTAIN RD., 4500 block, 3 p.m. March 27 to 3:43 p.m. April 2. A business was entered by breaking glass in a front door. Nothing was reported missing.

NOTLEY RD., 7700 block, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 2. Cash, audio recordings and video games and equipment were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a basement door.

PEPPERBOX LA., 7900 block, 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. April 4. Cash and a purse were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a basement door. Responding to a call, police three males, ages 14, 15 and 16, from Glen Burnie and Pasadena. They were charged on juvenile citations with first-degree burglary and theft under $500. Two were also charged with possession of drugs. All three were released to their guardians.
