COLUMBIA AREA

ROBBERIES

CLOUDLEAP CT., 8700 block, 11:44 to 11:48 p.m. April 23. Two male cyclists near a pizza restaurant demanded a wallet from a male pizza delivery driver putting pizzas in a vehicle. The driver said his wallet was inside the business and that he had no cash. The robbers took the pizzas and fled on bikes.

FREETOWN RD., 6400 block, 10:25 a.m. April 4. A male in a bank handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied. No weapons were reported.

LAKE ELKHORN BIKE PATH, BROKENLAND PARKWAY AND CRADLEROCK WAY, 7:15 to 7:30 p.m. April 4. A boy knocked a male cyclist off his bike. The assailant attempted to flee with the bike and the cyclist fought with him. The assailant threw the bike into a lake, pulled out a knife, cut the biker on the arm and fled. The cyclist had injuries over his left eye. The bike was recovered from the lake.

STEVENS FOREST RD., 5600 block, 9:10 to 9:38 p.m. April 4. A group of six jumped two people, tied them up and robbed them of cash. One of the two was stabbed in the abdomen and cut in the head.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CHELL RD., 6400 block, 11:45 p.m. April 5 to 7:30 a.m. April 6. A 2003 Yamaha mini bike was stolen from a storage shed entered by forcing a lock and a latch.

COLUMBIA RD., 4900 block, 5 to 10 a.m. April 3. A DVD player, DVDs, an electronic game, game cartridges and two green pillowcases were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a window.

DOBBIN RD., 6400 block, 1:27 p.m. April 5. Two juveniles were seen entering an unoccupied business through a rear bay door that had been left open. Nothing was reported missing.

GUILFORD RD., 8500 block, 11:30 p.m. April 6 to 8:40 a.m. April 7. A church was entered through a rear window and an accounting room door was opened by force. Nothing was reported missing.

GUILFORD RD., 8600 block, 3:48 a.m. April 4. Liquor and cigarettes were stolen from a liquor store entered by breaking a front door glass with a hammer that was recovered at the store.

OAKLAND MILLS RD., 7000 block, 2:15 p.m. April 5 to 8:30 a.m. April 7. An empty storage warehouse was entered through an unlocked door. The interior walls were damaged by using two forklifts. Nothing was reported missing.

THICKET LANE, 5600 block, 5:45 to 8:45 p.m. April 2. A residence was entered by forcing a front window. Nothing was reported missing.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

CEDAR LANE, 5700 block, 1:36 p.m. April 2. A grayish Toyota Camry was stolen and later recovered on Liberty Road in Baltimore County.

TAMAR DR., 8300 block, 10:29 a.m. April 6. An attempt was made to steal a vehicle.

WOODSIDE CT., 6300 block, 5 p.m. April 4 to 8:30 a.m. April 5. An attempt was made to steal a 1998 Dodge van.

WOODSIDE CT., 6300 block, 10:22 a.m. April 5. A white 2002 Ford van was stolen.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GLASGOW RD., 8800 block, 9:28 p.m. April 2. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

KEETON WAY, 8000 block, 11 a.m. April 2. An attempt was made to enter a tool shed by forcing a door.

ROCKLEDGE CT., 6400 block, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 3. Two handguns were stolen from a residence entered by using a ladder to climb to a second-floor bedroom window.

ELLICOTT CITY AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BIRMINGHAM WAY, 10800 block, 11:30 p.m. April 3 to 7 a.m. April 4. An attempt was made to enter a liquor store by forcing a back door.

TALBOTS LANDING, 5100 block, 5:31 p.m. April 4. An attempt was made to enter a residence by removing a rear window screen and forcing a window.

WHISTLING PINES CT., 7800 block, 6:40 p.m. April 6. An attempt was made to entered a residence by forcing a front door.

LAUREL AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BALTIMORE AVE., 9600 block, 9:54 p.m. April 5. Two people were seen inside a house under construction entered through a side window. Marijuana paraphernalia and beer were recovered in the house.

BARREL HOUSE RD., 9600 block, 6:45 p.m. April 6. Cash and a purse were stolen from an apartment entered through a bedroom window.

MOUNTAIN LAUREL WAY, 9700 block, 10:36 a.m. April 7. A screen on a sliding glass door was cut and a glass door lock was damaged at a residence. Nothing was reported missing.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

BARREL HOUSE RD., 9600 block, 1:20 p.m. April 6. An attempt was made to steal a vehicle.

CANTERBURY RIDING, 9100 block, 4:19 p.m. April 6. An attempt was made to steal a vehicle.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

STORCH WOODS DR., 8500 block, 9 to 10 p.m. April 1. A male entered an apartment through a back sliding-door and fled after he was noticed by a resident awakened by the noise. Nothing was reported missing.

JESSUP AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ASSATEAGUE DR., 7500 block, 8:18 p.m. April 6. A person was seen forcing a lock and entering a security office at a business. Nothing was reported missing.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 7600 block, 3:11 a.m. April 3. An intoxicated person entered an inn by force. A person was later arrested. Nothing was reported missing.
