ROBBERIES

STEVENSON AVE., 5000 block, 8:45 p.m. May 3. Two men punched a female pedestrian, 19, in the face, knocking her down. The assailants took the victim's jewelry and fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ALFRED ST. N., 200 block, 8 p.m. April 28 to 12:01 a.m. April 29. A purse containing cash, credit cards and papers was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked front door.

MOUNT VERNON AVE., 2300 block, 2:01 to 2:13 a.m. April 29. Cash was stolen from a business entered by breaking a front window.

REED AVE. E., 100 block, 3:30 p.m. April 30 to 6 a.m. May 3. Tools were stolen from several toolboxes at a construction site.

ST. ASAPH ST. N., 700 block, 7:10 p.m. April 30 to 7:58 a.m. May 1. Cash was stolen from a business entered by breaking through a rear wall.

SEMINARY RD., 5000 block, 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. April 29. A laptop computer was stolen from a hotel room.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

ASCOT CT., 5500 block, 8 p.m. April 29 to 7:23 a.m. April 30. A black 1988 Toyota Camry was stolen.

DUKE ST., 2800 block, 12:01 to 9:57 a.m. April 1. A gray 1973 Chevrolet Caprice was stolen.

EDSALL RD., 6100 block, 11 p.m. April 29 to 8 a.m. April 30. A blue 1990 Toyota Camry was stolen.

FOUR MILE RD., 500 block, 12:01 to 7 a.m. May 1. A light blue 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen.

MARTHA CUSTIS DR., 3300 block, 9:30 p.m. April 28 to 5:15 a.m. April 29. A brown 1992 Honda Accord was stolen.

MOUNT VERNON AVE., 4000 block, 4 p.m. April 29. A gray 1984 Datsun was stolen.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

FERN ST. S., 1200 block, 2:30 a.m. April 30. A male motorist raped a female, 18, at gunpoint after he drove her to Arlington from the District. An Alexandria man, 23, was arrested and charged with rape and abduction.

ABDUCTIONS

HENDERSON RD., 4300 block, 10:30 p.m. April 30. A man approached a female acquaintance, 25, who was sitting in a car with a friend and forced her to get into his car at gunpoint. The man threatened her before letting her go. A Fairfax man, 35, was arrested and charged with kidnapping.

ROBBERIES

THOMAS ST. N., 300 block, 9:10 p.m. May 3. A man accompanied by three other men demanded money from a male acquaintance, 22, who had stopped his car to talk to the man. When the victim complied, two of the men opened the victim's car door, grabbed the victim and demanded more money. Two men, 22 and 21, were arrested and charged with robbery.

WAYNE ST. N., 900 block, 11:25 p.m. April 29. Two men demanded a purse from a female pedestrian, 39. One of the men hit the victim in the face with an unidentified object and tried to grab the purse. The victim resisted and fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ARLINGTON BLVD., 4400 to 5800 blocks, 6:30 p.m. May 1 to 7:50 a.m. May 2. Eighteen vehicles and buildings were spray-painted.

CATHEDRAL LANE, 3900 block, 6:30 p.m. May 1 to 7:50 a.m. May 2. A church was entered and vandalized with spray paint.

ROLFE ST. N., 2100 block, 8:30 p.m. April 26 to 9 a.m. April 27. A credit card and a cell phone were stolen from a residence.

THOMAS ST. S., 1200 block, 5:55 p.m. April 28. Two men were attempting to take a computer from a residence when a resident interrupted them. The men entered the residence by forcing a front door.

WALTER REED DR. S., 800 block, 1:48 a.m. April 29. Police responded to an alarm at a business and saw a man walk inside the building, then leave through a window. After a brief chase, the intruder was stopped. A Sterling man, 43, was arrested.

SECOND ST. S., 2300 block, 8 to 8:30 a.m. May 3. Cash was stolen from a residence.

PEEPING TOM INCIDENTS

THIRD RD. N., 4100 block, 2:49 a.m. May 1. A female in a home heard a loud noise outside her window and saw a man looking through the window. A man, 19, was arrested and charged with peeping.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

GLEBE RD. N., 600 block. A green 1999 Subaru Outback was stolen.

JEFFERSON DAVIS HWY., 1700 block. A champagne-colored 2000 Dodge Neon was stolen.

12TH ST. S., 3700 block. A black 2002 Honda Accord was stolen.
