HIGHLIGHTS: In a game Saturday against Crofton, Gabi Diener scored on a header, and Ericka Rocke and Tori Lentz also had goals for United. Alli Hogan and Rebecca Leopold had assists. The next day, against the same opponent, Rocke, Blair Thornhill, Gina Colarusso and Natalie Powell scored for the 5-1-1 United.

Brandon Estrain, Hand and Britton held Pasadena to five hits. In the second game, Caddigan had three hits, and Justin Razmic, Zachary Scott, Heydrick and Britton each had two hits. Heydrick threw six strong innings, and Jordan Thompson was a force behind the plate and pitched the final inning.

HIGHLIGHTS: Caroline Evans and Emily Klawson combined for four hits for Virginia. Kelsey Cardace threw out a runner at first. Nikki Wolfrey and Caroline Evans had unassisted outs. For Stanford, Allison Fehnel, Emily Leech and Kayla Potter hit well.

UNC vs. Arizona

HIGHLIGHTS: Madison Miller and Emily Nupp each had three hits for Arizona. Ellie Graef played well. Kelly Hamilton, Jordan Travisano and Emily Speierman were strong at the plate and defensively for UNC.

UNC vs. Stanford

HIGHLIGHTS: Hope Andrews and Kelly Hamilton each had three hits and several fine defensive plays for UNC. For Stanford, Sarah Adams and Laura Sullivan each caught a line drive that led to a double play.

For FSU, Jessica Hughes, Alyssa Andre and Sarah Watts had hits, and Lindsey Kellner pitched well. Pitcher Kelsey Lekich struck out three and snared a shoestring line drive.

HIGHLIGHTS: UNC's Kathy Thornton pitched three scoreless innings and struck out seven. Kelsey Prucha-Mitchell tripled to the fence and stole home twice. Zoe Ledbetter made a nice defensive play in right. Washington's Becca Williams made several defensive outs at first, and Lindsay Snellar and Brianna Montgomery both made great defensive plays.

Florida State's Ali Salitt hit a three-run shot to center, and Nicole Golich had two hits. Lauren Pazornick and Sarah Fauver led the defense.

Heather Carroll struck out six over four innings, and catcher Beckman threw out a Virginia runner attempting to steal second. Virginia's Miriam Bennett scored five runs and played great behind the plate. Ciara Dubbe added two hits and made a great play at third base. Heather Ballew had two strikeouts on the mound.

Pitchers Courtney Fraas and Caitlin McAnallen and catchers Liana Farb and Brittany Luhman led Maryland. Megan Perry sparked Maryland on offense and defense in the first game. Maria Sieron, Allison Lekich, Laura Eddy and Bruka Mikesell stole home for Georgia Tech in the first game. Mandy Hanlon and Mary Maclean played strong defense. In the second game, Tech was led by Sieron's double and Allison Lekich's defense.
