HOMICIDES

BLADENSBURG RD., 1000 block, 12:04 a.m. May 1. Robert Adams, 16, of the 1400 block of Maryland Avenue NE, was found on a sidewalk with gunshot and stab wounds. He was taken to Howard University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

58TH ST. AND EASTERN AVE., 9:56 p.m. May 5. Michael Dent, 49, of the 100 block of Ingraham Street NW, was found in a vehicle with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Prince George's County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:17 p.m.

I ST., 2100 block, 11:18 p.m. April 29. Nathaniel Pickett, 21, of the 1100 block of 21st Place NE, was found in a residence with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Washington Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead.

52ND ST., 800 block, 9:01 p.m. May 3. Chelsea Cromartie, 8, of the 2600 block of 29th Street SE, was found in a residence with a gunshot wound to the head. She was taken to Children's Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 9:42 p.m.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

E ST., 11:24 p.m. April 29. A male forced a female to the ground in front of a residence and sexually assaulted her while a male accomplice held her. They robbed her of a laptop computer, a cell phone and a purse.

ROBBERIES

BENNING RD., 3900 block, 6:15 p.m. April 30. A male with a knife and a male accomplice demanded cash from a male taxi driver. The driver said he had none, and the robbers fled. A male, 23, was arrested.

E ST., 200 block, 10 p.m. April 29. Three males assaulted a male pedestrian and attempted to rob him of a backpack. The pedestrian fought, and the assailants fled without taking property.

E ST., 200 block, 4:45 p.m. May 5. A male took cash from a pedestrian after threatening to shoot the pedestrian and a child.

E ST., 300 block, 4:30 p.m. May 5. A male demanded vehicle keys from a female pedestrian. When she replied that she had none, the robber demanded cash. She said she had none, and the male said he had gun, but didn't show one. The male fled without taking property.

HAMLIN ST., 1800 block, 10:45 p.m. May 2. A male reached into the pocket of a male pedestrian and robbed him of property. The pedestrian was assaulted with a stun gun when he attempted to resist.

NEW YORK AVE., 100 block, 4:10 a.m. May 4. A male with a crowbar attempted to enter a cashier's booth at a gas station by prying the door. Unable to enter, the intruder demanded cash, and an employee complied.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 800 block, 9:24 a.m. April 30. A female snatched CDs from the hand of a female pedestrian.

SOUTH DAKOTA AVE., 5500 block, 8:38 to 10:20 p.m. May 6. Two males assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed him of tools, groceries and a CD player.

VARNUM ST., 200 block, 10 to 10:05 a.m. May 1. A male robbed a male pedestrian of cash, then fled on a bicycle.

THIRD ST., 700 block, 5:55 p.m. May 5. A male demanded cash from a pedestrian, then assaulted the pedestrian when the victim refused. The assailant fled empty-handed.

FOURTH ST., 600 block, 6:10 p.m. May 3. A male demanded cash from a female pedestrian, and she complied.

SEVENTH AND EAST CAPITOL STREETS, 9:45 to 9:50 a.m. May 6. A male attempted to snatch a female pedestrian's purse. The pedestrian fell and was assaulted. The assailant fled in a vehicle.

EIGHTH AND H STREETS, 7:45 to 8 a.m. May 4. A gunman robbed a pedestrian of property.

12TH AND OTIS STREETS, 3:30 a.m. May 2. A male driver snatched a wallet containing cash from a male passenger in his vehicle, pushed him out and fled.

18TH ST., 700 block, 11:40 p.m. May 4. A gunman and a male accomplice robbed a male pedestrian of property.

45TH ST., 1000 block, 9:25 a.m. May 4. Four people got out of a vehicle, assaulted a male and robbed him of a coat and backpack containing documents.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

AMES ST., 4100 block, 8:15 to 8:30 p.m. May 3. A purse containing a bank card and checkbook was stolen from an apartment by a male who forced his way inside when a female resident answered the door.

FLORIDA AVE., 400 block, 10 p.m. May 3 to 9 a.m. May 4. Property was stolen from a convenience store entered by forcing a rear gate.

FLORIDA AVE., 800 block, noon May 3 to 8 a.m. May 4. Property was stolen from a residence.

G ST., 1300 block, 8:45 to 9:09 p.m. May 5. A man and a male accomplice attempted to enter a residence by prying a front door, then walked away when observed by a female motorist. After the intruders returned, the motorist returned, and the intruders fled again. A man, 30, was arrested.

JAY ST., 5000 block, 4 p.m. May 1 to 2 a.m. May 2. A purse was stolen from an apartment by a male who entered by prying a front door and damaged property by discharging a fire extinguisher.

LINCOLN RD., 2300 block, 10 a.m. April 8 to 6:30 a.m. April 30. Shoes, a CD player, a DVD player, a VCR and a TV were stolen from an apartment entered by forcing a front door.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 1000 block, 10:30 p.m. May 3 to 6:50 a.m. May 4. A vehicle and other property were stolen from a garage at a residence entered by breaking a lock.

OTIS ST., 2200 block, 2:30 p.m. May 4. A residence was entered by prying a bedroom window and ransacked.

SOUTH DAKOTA AVE., 4900 block, 4:07 to 4:20 p.m. May 4. Property was taken from a residence by two male youths who followed a male resident home and forced their way

inside.

THIRD ST., 1100 block, 7 p.m. April 30 to 2 p.m. May 5. A vehicle was stolen from a parking area entered by cutting a lock on a gate.

FOURTH ST., 1200 block, 7:30 p.m. May 1. Property was stolen from a building entered by forcing a garage door.

FIFTH ST., 200 block, 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. May 3. Property was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked basement door.

SIXTH ST., 700 block, 3:30 to 4 p.m. May 2. A stereo, a VCR, a TV and a vacuum cleaner were stolen from a residence by two males who entered by smashing a rear basement window.

EIGHTH ST., 600 block, 7:30 a.m. to 6:10 p.m. May 6. Property was stolen from a residence entered by smashing a front window.

10TH ST., 400 block, 10:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 3. Property was stolen from a residence entered by removing an air conditioner from a rear basement window.

20TH ST., 800 block, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 5. A lawn mower and a weed trimmer were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

57TH PL., 200 block, 7:15 to 7:30 p.m. May 3. Shoes were stolen from a residence by a male who entered by kicking a front door. The intruder attempted to assault a resident, then fled.

Northwest

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

CALVERT ST., 2500 block, 2:20 a.m. May 2. A man, 49, was arrested in connection with a sexual assault in a hotel or motel.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 8 p.m. April 30 to 8:30 p.m. May 2. A woman entered a bathroom in a home in which a female was showering and fondled her breast and thighs. The female told her to stop and leave. On May 2, the woman threatened to beat her if she told anyone what happened.

ROBBERIES

CHAMPLAIN ST., 2200 block, April 30 to May 30. Two men approached a male driver in a cab. One man asked him for a ride. The driver said that he was not working. The other man showed a knife and tried to rob him, then fled with his companion.

CONNECTICUT AVE., 3000 block, 8 to 8:15 p.m. May 1. A man robbed a female of a purse at knifepoint in an apartment elevator. The purse was recovered, missing a permit, a credit card and a cell phone.

DECATUR ST., 1500 block, noon to 12:05 a.m. May 1. Two gunmen robbed a 22-year-old male pedestrian of a cell phone and an ID.

FLORIDA AVE., 1300 block, 8:53 to 9 p.m. April 29. A man threatened a male in a building and robbed him of a permit and robbed a female of cash.

GEORGIA AVE., 5500 block, 3:45 to 3:50 p.m. April 30. A male teenager kicked a boy on a sidewalk and took property.

GEORGIA AVE., 6300 block, 3:35 to 3:37 a.m. May 1. A man robbed a 45-year-old man at gunpoint at a bus stop, then walked away.

IRVING ST., 1400 block, 9:10 p.m. May 2. A gunman robbed a male pedestrian of a laptop computer and other property.

JEFFERSON ST., 700 block, 12:30 a.m. May 2. Three men got out of a car and surrounded a 27-year-old male pedestrian. One showed a gun and said, "Is everything okay? Do you have any beer?" The pedestrian said no, and the man said, "I'm going to kill you. Give me your money." The other two rifled the pedestrian's pockets. All three fled empty-handed when they were alerted that police were arriving.

LAMONT ST., 1700 block, 4:40 a.m. May 1. A male pushed a 39-year-old pedestrian to the ground and he and another male kicked him and took a wallet and papers.

LANIER PL., 1700 block, 10:55 a.m. May 4. A male teenager grabbed a female pedestrian's purse and pushed her down. He and two other male teenagers fled with the purse, containing a wallet, a cell phone, an FBI ID and credit cards.

MANOR PL., 400 block, 11 p.m. April 29. A male robbed a 46-year-old deliveryman of food at gunpoint on a porch at the delivery address and fled with two males.

MERIDIAN PL., 1400 block, 9 p.m. May 2. Five males approached a male as he got out of his car. One hit him in the face and took his car keys, then fled with the other four.

NEW JERSEY AVE., 900 block, 1:45 p.m. May 3. A woman demanded property from someone at gunpoint in a home.

NEWTON ST., 1700 block, 10:53 p.m. May 3. A male threatened a pedestrian, took a cell phone and fled with another male.

P ST., 1400 block, 2 to 4 p.m. May 2. A woman placed a bag on a bench, and someone took her purse from the bag.

RHODE ISLAND AVE., 1300 block, 3:30 p.m. May 1. Two men approached a male sitting on a park bench. One said, "I know you have money in your pocket." The male refused to give up cash. The first man threatened to shoot him, then hit him instead. His accomplice kicked the male in the leg. The attackers fled on foot.

SHERMAN AVE., 2200 block, 2:30 a.m. May 1. A male hit another male in the face in a parking area and tried to rob him. Another person tried to help the victim but was assaulted by two other males and robbed of a wallet.

U ST., 1300 block, 6:30 p.m. April 29. A man ordered a slice of pizza in a restaurant, then took cash from a cash register when an employee opened it.

WISCONSIN AVE., 3300 block, 4:40 to 4:55 a.m. April 30. Two men entered a supermarket. One led a female employee into an office, taped her hands and feet and put cash into a plastic bag while the other man distracted other employees.

FIRST TER., 1100 block, 3 p.m. May 3. Someone threatened a female pedestrian with a screwdriver and robbed her of property.

SEVENTH ST., 400 block, 1:35 to 1:53 p.m. May 4. A backpack was taken from the floor in a specialty store.

14TH AND L STREETS, 8:40 p.m. May 1. Five men approached a pedestrian. One asked if he wanted drugs, then grabbed and attacked him, took his wallet and fled with the other men.

14TH ST., 700 block, 1 to 1:15 p.m. May 6. Property was taken from a female's purse in line at a convenience store.

14TH ST., 1300 block, 10:30 to 10:31 p.m. April 29. A man tried to reach and take money from a cash drawer at a restaurant's drive-through window. A store manager slammed the drawer closed. Nothing was reported taken.

15TH ST., 1700 block, 5:50 a.m. May 4. A male grabbed a female pedestrian from behind and said, "Don't scream." He took a sweater, a backpack, a wallet with cards, an MP3 player and a cell phone.

18TH ST., 1700 block, 8:25 p.m. May 4. A male snatched a purse on a sidewalk next to two pedestrians. The purse contained two cell phones and credit cards.

18TH ST., 2100 block, 1:40 to 2 a.m. April 30. A man with a knife robbed a pedestrian of a wallet and a passport while another man served as a lookout.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BUCHANAN ST., 1300 block, 12:57 to 1:05 p.m. May 6. Two men entered a home by forcing a rear door. Another man fled through an alley. A man, 44, was arrested.

BUTTERNUT ST., 600 block, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. May 5. A TV was taken from a home entered by kicking a front door.

EUCLID ST., 1300 block, 8 to 8:10 p.m. May 5. A purse was taken from an apartment entered through a front door. The purse was recovered by its owner in a closet in the lobby of the apartment building.

F ST., 2100 block, 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. May 6. A laptop computer and a computer case were taken from a home entered through an unlocked front door.

GIRARD ST., 700 block, 11:05 to 11:10 p.m. May 1. A man smashed a window of a laundry room in a home and took tools.

GRESHAM PL., 500 block, 11:20 to 11:50 p.m. May 1. A computer, cash, a video-game system and DVDs were taken from an occupied, unlocked dormitory room.

HARRISON ST., 3800 block, 6 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. May 3. A dresser and closets were ransacked in a home entered by kicking a front door.

HARVARD ST., 700 block, 11:50 p.m. May 1. The power went out in a home while a resident was watching TV. A man entered and called her by name, asking where her money was. The resident said her money was upstairs, and the man fled.

HARVARD ST., 1300 block, 2 p.m. April 30 to 2:30 p.m. May 3. A home was entered by prying a front door.

I ST., 1800 block, 11:49 to 11:52 p.m. May 2. A specialty store was entered by smashing a front window with a brick, and 120 pairs of eyeglasses and 35 pairs of sunglasses were taken.

I ST., 1900 block, 5 p.m. May 1 to 9:30 a.m. May 3. A flat-screen monitor and three credit cards were taken from a specialty store entered by forcing a front door.

JENIFER ST., 3700 block, 3 to 5:37 p.m. May 1. Credit cards were taken from a house entered by kicking a front door while a resident sat on the back patio.

KENYON ST., 1000 block, 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. May 3. A CD/radio unit, a drill and a saw were taken from a home entered through a second-story window.

MACARTHUR BLVD., 5100 block, 10:45 p.m. April 30 to 6:45 a.m. May 1. A safe was taken from a specialty store entered by smashing glass in a front door and prying the door.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 1300 block, 12:30 to 7:30 a.m. April 30. A credit card, keys, a camera, a cell phone and jewelry were taken from a home.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 4200 block, 9:30 p.m. April 30 to 2 a.m. May 1. A watch was taken from an occupied, unlocked apartment.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE., 4400 block, 11 p.m. May 4 to 2 p.m. May 5. A laptop computer was taken from a locked dormitory room.

SHERMAN AVE., 2900 block, 11 to 11:45 a.m. May 5. An apartment was ransacked after a window was pried open.

TUCKERMAN ST., 1400 block, 1:30 to 9:30 p.m. May 1. A printer, an ink cartridge and an ink holder were taken from an apartment.

U ST., 1200 block, 1 to 8 a.m. May 4. Drills, a saw, a nail gun and a tile cutter were taken from a construction site entered by forcing a rear door.

VAN NESS ST., 3000 block, 7:30 a.m. to 9:35 p.m. April 30. A laptop computer was taken from an apartment.

WARREN PL., 5100 block, 12:30 to 12:31 a.m. April 30. A home was entered by breaking a front door latch.

WISCONSIN AVE., 4500 block, 8:30 a.m. May 2 to 8:30 a.m. May 3. A restaurant was ransacked after a door was pried, and a safe was drilled. Property was taken.

FIRST ST., 5700 block, 9:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. May 4. Four gold bracelets were taken from a home entered by forcing a door.

28TH ST., 1200 block, 6:30 p.m. May 1 to 8:30 a.m. May 2. Property was taken from a chair near the front door of a home while a resident was carrying groceries from her car to her home.

HOMICIDES

ROBINSON PL., 2800 block, 3:23 p.m. May 1. Antonio Blakely, 18, of the 1100 block of Stevens Road SE, was found on a street with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Howard University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:57 p.m.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

ERIE ST., 4 to 5 p.m. April 30. A boy, accompanied by male youth accomplice, forced a girl, 11, into an apartment and attempted to rape her. A boy, 11, was arrested.

NAYLOR RD., 2700 block, 3:45 p.m. April 30. A male student exposed himself to a female student, pulled her pants down and rubbed against her at a school.

WESTOVER DR., 12:30 to 12:45 a.m. May 4. A man raped a female acquaintance, 34, in a home after she refused his advances. A man, 35, was arrested.

ROBBERIES

ALABAMA AVE., 2800 block, 10:59 to 11:02 a.m. May 3. A gunman robbed a store employee walking to a bank of cash deposits.

KNOX PL., 2900 block, 2:30 a.m. May 3. Three males assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed him of a coat and other property.

MELLON ST., 600 block, 2:10 a.m. May 4. Two males assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed him of property.

MINNESOTA AVE., 3500 block, 8:30 a.m. April 22. Three male youths assaulted a male youth and robbed him of a football. An arrest was made.

NAYLOR RD., 3000 block, 8:50 p.m. May 5. A male snatched an envelope from a male in a liquor store and fled.

NORTH CAROLINA AVE., 700 block, 3:05 p.m. May 3. A gunman demanded a bottle of liquor from a liquor store employee. The employee complied.

STEVENS RD., 1200 block, 1:15 p.m. May 2. Six males pulled a male driver, 27, from a vehicle, assaulted him and fled in the vehicle. A man, 19, was arrested.

FIRST ST., 100 block, 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. April 17. A male robbed a female pedestrian of cash.

10TH ST. AND ALABAMA AVE., 10 p.m. May 4. A male with a knife and three male accomplices robbed a male pedestrian of a jacket, hat, backpack and watch.

C ST., 300 block, 8 a.m. May 5 to 12:01 a.m. May 6. Property was stolen from a residence entered by smashing a front glass door.

CALL PL., 5400 block, 8 p.m. April 29 to 7:45 a.m. May 4. A lawn mower was stolen from a storage room of an apartment complex entered by cutting a door lock.

LIVINGSTON RD., 4600 block, 6:30 p.m. April 30. A boy was found in a school. A boy, 13, was arrested.

NAYLOR RD., 1900 block, 11:20 to 11:30 p.m. May 4. A male entered a residence by kicking a front door, damaged property and assaulted a female resident.

OAKWOOD ST., 200 block, 8:30 p.m. April 30 to 1 p.m. May 2. DVD players and a video camera were stolen from an apartment entered through a bedroom window.

PENNSYLVANIA AVE., 600 block, 5 p.m. April 16 to 3:30 a.m. April 17. Property was stolen from a residence.

SOUTHERN AVE., 800 block, 5 a.m. April 29 to 5 a.m. April 30. Jewelry was stolen from an apartment.

53RD ST., 100 block, 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. April 30. A key was stolen from a residence entered by prying a bedroom window.
