Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, kennel assistants.

Center for Multicultural Human Services, staff the information and referral line department. Training provided.

Community Lodgings, help with a car wash and bake sale fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 19. English as a Second Language tutors also needed.

CrisisLink, staff local and national suicide and crisis hotlines. Training provided.

Empowered Women International, coordinate Arts and Crafts Gallery, assist the executive director, coordinate volunteers, organize resources, help with fundraising and grant writing and more.

Ethiopian Community Development Center, help move the center to a new location.

Mount Vernon Elementary School, mentor and tutor students.

Senior Services of Alexandria, deliver meals to homebound seniors.

Share Our Strength, communicate with participants at the Great American Bake Sale.

Wholistic Family Agape Ministries Institute, help at an HIV/AIDS symposium from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 5.
