LITTLE MAGOTHY VIEW, 10000 block, 3 a.m. May 10. Musical instruments and a radio were stolen from a residence.

ROBBERIES

RITCHIE HWY., 5600 block, May 20. A man tried to snatch a woman's purse, but she held onto it, suffering an arm injury. Police found a man nearby and arrested him after a foot chase. A 27-year-old Ferndale man was charged with attempted robbery, attempted theft and second-degree assault.

MAYO RD., 200 block, 9:33 p.m. May 17. A man fired a .22 caliber rifle during an argument with a female relative. A short time later, police arrested an Edgewater man and charged him with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. No injuries were reported.

CENTRAL AVE. W., 100 block, 4:43 a.m. May 12. Tobacco products were stolen from a business entered by breaking a front glass door.

PARKE WAST DR., 7800 block, 11:43 p.m. May 17. Two men were robbed of two cell phones and one was also robbed of his shoes by a gunman and two male accomplices.

EIGHTH AVE. SE, 300 block, 11:07 p.m. May 17. A man appeared next to a woman as she was getting out of her car in a driveway and made a comment, then snatched her purse and fled.

ANNAPOLIS RD., 2700 block, May 20. Two males took beer from a liquor store and left in a Lincoln car with tinted windows. P0lice found the vehicle in the Still Meadows community and arrested an 18-year old Millersville man and a 16-year-old Severn youth, who was charged as an adult. Police recovered three handguns in the car.

Odenton Area

ASSAULTS

ANNAPOLIS RD., 1600 block, 1:28 a.m. May 16. During an argument with a 31-year-old man in a bar, a man left the bar, retrieved a gun from his vehicle and returned. When he pointed the gun at several people, customers in the bar retreated to the parking lot. The gunman followed and fired two rounds. No injuries were reported. Police stopped a vehicle driving through the parking lot, arrested a 28-year-old man from Bowman, S.C., and recovered a 9mm semiautomatic from the vehicle. The man was charged with attempted first-degree and second-degree murder, two counts each of first-degree and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, handgun violations and theft. An investigation revealed that the gun had been reported stolen in 2003 in South Carolina.

BLAIR DR., 1300 block, 3:30 a.m. May 11. Auto parts, clothing and a radio were stolen from a business. Two men, ages 21 and 24, were arrested.

KING MALCOLM AVE., 500 block, 8:45 a.m. to 10:11 p.m. May 15. Computer and other equipment were stolen from a residence.

BEACH RD., 200 block, May 1 to May 10. Tools and equipment were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

BODKIN AVE., 8100 block, 7:10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 12. Boating equipment, jewelry, IDs, audio recordings and video games and equipment were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

HOLMESPUN DR., 1200 block, 2 to 9:21 p.m. May 11. A residence was entered by forcing a front door. Nothing was reported missing.

MOUNTAIN RD., 3800 block, 9:27 p.m. May 12. A business was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

MOUNTAIN RD., 4100 block, 9:26 p.m. May 15. A business was entered by forcing a rear door. Nothing was reported missing.

OUTING AVE., 7900 block, 2:17 a.m. May 20. Police responding to a burglar alarm at a middle school saw four males enter through a rear door. Police, with the help of a canine unit, arrested four men, ages 18, 20 and 21, and charged them with second-degree and fourth-degree burglary and trespassing.

ROUND TABLE CT., 8000 block, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 14. Cash, audio recordings and video games and equipment were stolen from a residence entered through a door.

STEWARTON CT., 8200 block, May 14. A radio and audio recordings were stolen from a residence.

VIRGINIA AVE., 1400 block, 10:10 a.m. May 14. A residence was entered through an unlocked side door. Nothing was reported missing.

Severna Park Area

INDECENT EXPOSURE

LYNWOOD DRIVE AND KINDER ROAD, 2:50 p.m. May 4. A man in a white minivan parked with its side door open exposed himself to a 15-year-old girl who rode by on a bike. Six days later at 2:45 p.m. May 10, a 14-year-old girl on London Lane near Sheffield Drive saw a white minivan with a rear bike rack drive by. At 2:50 p.m., two children, ages 12 and 13, walked past a white minivan parked at Sheffield Drive and Wembly Way. They heard a whistle, turned toward the van and saw a male expose himself. Both children fled and reported the incident to a parent. At 2:50 p.m. May 12, the 14-year-old girl saw the van again parked on Sequoia Road near Severna Park High School with a door open. As the girl walked by, a man inside made a comment and exposed himself. She notified police. Police were seeking a white or light gray minivan with sliding doors and a bike rack on the back.

MAPLE AVE., 1100 block, Feb. 1 to May 11. Computer equipment, cash, audio recordings, tools and video games and equipment were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear window.

OAK AVE., 1100 block, April 1 to April 20. Tools were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a door.

SHADY SIDE RD., 6100 block, 12:10 to 7:30 a.m. May 13. Liquor was stolen from a business entered by breaking a rear glass door.
