Concordia Lutheran School is enrolling children in its summer day camp. Children from age 3 through fourth grade will be able to participate in enrichment classes, crafts and games. There will be off-campus field trips to the National Zoo, Discovery Theater, Port Discovery and the Capital Children's Museum, as well as shorter trips for bowling and swimming. A morning snack will be provided; children should bring lunch and an afternoon snack.

The Rev. Harry L. Seawright will celebrate his 18th year as pastor of Union Bethel AME Church June 6 with a day of guest preachers at the church's two locations. At the 7:45 a.m. worship service in Brandywine, the Rev. Lanelle Pickett of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Tampa will speak. At 11 a.m., the Rev. Robert Childs from Berean Baptist Church preaches. At the 4 p.m. service, the Rev. R. Hamilton Crump of Faith AME Church speaks. The Brandywine church is at 6810 Floral Park Rd

At Union Bethel's Temple Hills site at 10 a.m., the Rev. Dessie Carter, former pastor of Embry AME Church, is the featured speaker. The church is at 3231 Brinkley Rd.

The celebration continues with a series of revival meetings at 7:30 p.m. with the following preachers: On June 14, the Rev. William Porter of Hemingway Memorial AME Church in District Heights; June 15, the Rev. Grainger Browning, Ebenezer AME Church, Fort Washington; and June 16, the Rev. Lee P. Washington, Reid Temple AME Church, Lanham.

Union Bethel AME Church is opening registration for children 5 to 13 in its Christian Summer Camp program. Camps will be held at two locations: 6810 Floral Park Rd. in Brandywine and 3231 Brinkley Rd. in Temple Hills.

The children will take part in Bible study, daily devotions, field trips to the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Watkins Regional Park and bowling and, for an additional charge, a trip to Six Flags America every other week. There will also be computer classes, tutoring in reading and other academic subjects, arts and crafts.

All of the children will be given breakfast and an afternoon snack. Lunch is also available. Sessions begin on June 22.
