DUKE ST., 4300 block, 12:35 a.m. May 22. A man was arguing with a female acquaintance, 21, behind her residence when he pushed her head against the sidewalk, then forced her back into her apartment at knife point. A relative of the female attempted to intervene, and the female broke free and ran into a bedroom. The assailant grabbed knives from the kitchen and attempted to chase the female as she ran from the apartment. The assailant was holding two knives when police confronted him. A man, 22, was arrested and charged with felonious assault, abduction, burglary and violation of a protective order.
DUKE ST., 4600 block, 8:54 p.m. May 18. Three men entered a store and one took a bottle of liquor. When a store employee, 38, confronted the man, he threatened the employee. The three men fled in a brown Honda.
PATRICK ST. S., 700 block, 12:28 a.m. May 24. Three men robbed a male motorist, 22, of his purple 1996 Ford Taurus after he drove two of the men to a store to buy supplies to fix a flat tire. The motorist had driven the two back to the car when a third man appeared. As they were fixing the tire, the first two men pulled out handguns and all three fled in the victim's car.
SEMINARY RD., 4600 block, 9 p.m. May 18. A man grabbed a male pedestrian, 37, while a second man held an unidentified object to the victim's back and a third man robbed him of a wallet.
WASHINGTON ST. N., 800 block, 7:13 p.m. May 24. A male entered a business, walked into a kitchen, placed an unidentified object to the back of the store manager and demanded money. The female manager complied, and the robber fled.
BRAGG ST. S., 100 block, 12:47 to 9:30 a.m. May 19. A wallet, luggage, electronic equipment, books and medicine were stolen from a hotel room.
CANAL CENTER PLAZA, 1-100 block, 4:30 p.m. May 21 to 6:15 a.m. May 24. Cash and cigarettes were stolen from a business entered by forcing a front door.
LEE ST. N., 200 block, 4 p.m. May 19 to 6:45 a.m. May 20. Cash was stolen from a business entered by removing a rooftop air conditioning unit.
MOUNT VERNON AVE., 1600 block, 7:44 to 11:37 p.m. May 26. Cash was stolen from a business entered by breaking a window.
PITT ST. S., 100 block, 9:15 a.m. to 7:59 p.m. May 19. Electronic equipment and bank checks were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.
POWHATAN ST., 1200 block, 1 to 1:08 a.m. May 26. Cash was stolen from a business entered by forcing a door.
QUANTRELL AVE., 5800 block, 2:05 a.m. May 20. A man entered a bedroom and attempted to assault a female resident, 23, who had been asleep. The victim struggled with the intruder and screamed, alerting two other residents, who chased the intruder from the apartment.

COLUMBUS ST. S., 300 block, 7 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. May 25. A green 1995 Mercury Marquis was stolen.
DOGWOOD DR., 1700 block, 7:40 a.m. May 19 to 5 p.m. May 20. A blue and white 2003 Suzuki motorcycle was stolen.
DUKE ST., 5700 block, 5 to 6:19 p.m. May 21. A white 2003 Cadillac CTS was stolen.
EDISON ST., 3600 block, 9:30 p.m. May 23 to 7:15 p.m. May 24. A blue 1990 Toyota Corolla was stolen.
FLORENCE DR., 3800 block, 10 p.m. May 17 to 6 a.m. May 18. A gray 1986 Toyota Camry was stolen.
HOOFS RUN DR., 300 block, 11:22 a.m. April 25 to 11 a.m. May 19. A silver 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen.
KENWOOD AVE., 1600 block, 11:15 p.m. May 19 to 8 a.m. May 20. A gray 1999 Honda motorcycle was stolen.
PICKETT ST. S., 400 block, 7 a.m. May 20 to 7 a.m. May 21. A white 1998 Chevrolet truck was stolen.
RALEIGH AVE., 4200 block, 11 p.m. May 21 to 1 p.m. May 22. A white 1995 Chevrolet Caprice was stolen.
WHITING ST. S., 300 block, 1 to 4 a.m. May 22. A silver 2004 Toyota Tacoma was stolen.
WHITING ST. S., 400 block, 9 p.m. May 19 to 6:30 a.m. May 20. A maroon 1987 Toyota Camry was stolen.
WYNDHAM CIR., 3300 block, 7:30 p.m. May 18 to 8:20 p.m. May 19. A black 1997 Dodge Neon was stolen.

LEE HWY., 1600 block, 3:42 p.m. May 24. A man on a bike trail grabbed a female pedestrian, 29, and fled.
GREENBRIER ST. S., 600 block, 5:53 p.m. May 26. A male teenager allegedly stabbed a relative in the chest. The relative, 16, was transported by a helicopter to a hospital. A male, also 16, was charged with malicious wounding.
SHIRLINGTON RD. S., 2600 block, 6:52 p.m. May 22. Two men punched a male pedestrian, 45, and robbed him of cash and a cell phone.
EIGHTH RD. S., 5200 block, 11:45 p.m. May 21. A man held an object to the back of a male pedestrian, 36, grabbed the victim's cell phone and fled.
19TH RD. N., 6800 block, 6 p.m. May 23. A female knocked on a front door of a home, then entered when no one answered. The intruder fled when a resident appeared. Nothing was reported missing.

CRYSTAL DR. S., 1900 block. A white 1984 Toyota Camry was stolen.
GEORGE MASON DR. S., 1200 block. A maroon 1990 Toyota Camry was stolen.
