TELEGRAPH RD., 7600 block, 3 p.m. April 28. A male teacher invited a male juvenile student into his classroom to talk, then allegedly touched him inappropriately. An Arlington man was charged with custodial indecent liberties.

ROBBERIES

EDSALL RD., 6400 block, 2 a.m. May 21. A man with a stun gun and a hand gun entered a gas station and demanded that an employee open a cash drawer and put money into a bag. The clerk complied, then was forced to lie on the floor of a back room. No injuries were reported.

BACKLICK RD., 5500 block. A laptop computer was stolen from a business.

BELVOIR WOODS PKWY., 9100 block. Persian rugs were stolen from a storage unit.

BEULAH ST., 6500 block. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle.

ASSAULTS

BARCROFT VIEW TER., 3600 block, 2 a.m. May 23. A man struck family members with a beer bottle, then fled. When police located him, he was verbally abusive and attempted to kick and bite an officer who was arresting him. While in a police car, he banged his head against a window and threatened officers. A 20-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with assaulting a police officer.

PATRICK HENRY DR., 3000 block, 10 p.m. May 22. Three males threatened two males, ages 16 and 19, outside a convenience store. The 16-year-old was stabbed in the head while fighting with them, and property was taken from both. A 17-year-old Falls Church boy was charged with simple assault.

LEE HWY., 7800 block, 6:30 p.m. May 20. A group of youths threatened two male juveniles with a club-like weapon and demanded cash on a path behind a shopping center. Police arrived, and two Merrifield area boys, ages 15 and 12, were charged with robbery and released to their parents.

DEL NORTE COURT AND POLE ROAD, 2:45 p.m. May 20. A 13-year-old boy was shot in the neck with a BB gun. Two Engleside area males, ages 15 and 17, were questioned and released to their parents. The case was under investigation. The injured boy received medical treatment.

HARRISON LANE, 6900 block, May 23 to May 24. Fire extinguishers were discharged in several school buses at an elementary school, and bus windows and school windows were broken.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

ARNON LAKE DR., 500 block, 3 p.m. May 21. A man claiming to be lost approached a 16-year-old female after she got off a school bus and grabbed her breasts. The girl ran away.

CAMERON CRESCENT DR., 1500 block. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.

CAPSTONE CIR., 2000 block. A radio was stolen from a vehicle.

COOPERS CT., 11800 block. A registration sticker was stolen from a vehicle.

FREEDOM DR., 11900 block, 2:30 p.m. May 23. A man stole a life-size sculpture of a woman on display at Reston Town Center. Several people saw the man carrying the sculpture, but no one realized it was being stolen. A Fairfax County Police helicopter assisted in an unsuccessful search for the man.

LEESBURG PIKE, 12200 block. Gas was stolen from a service station.

LIBRARY ST., 1800 block. Art was stolen from a business.

PLANTATION DR., 11700 block. Copper wiring was stolen from a construction site.

PURPLE SAGE CT., 12100 block. A light was stolen from a residence.

SUNSET HILLS RD., 1100 block. A wallet and cash were stolen from a business.

WOODLAND PARK, 13200 block. A laptop computer was stolen from a business.

VANDALISM

BENNETT ST., 700 block, 5:30 a.m. May 24. Graffiti was spray-painted on 12 school buses parked at a high school. Similar graffiti was found on the school building.

ABDUCTIONS

MERRYBROOK DR., 2400 block, 1 a.m. May 23. A man forced his way into a vehicle after a woman had gotten into it with her 3-year-old daughter. The man threatened them and demanded sex from the woman. He drove them to a hotel, where he forced the woman to rent a room. A hotel clerk realized that the woman was in distress and called police. A 23-year-old Dumfries man was charged with abduction with intent to defile, abduction, carjacking and possession of cocaine.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

KING LUISE DR., May 21. A man observed his 12-year-old daughter with a man in a vehicle in front of a residence. The man took his daughter out of the vehicle, and the man drove away. A 31-year-old Alexandria area man was charged with statutory rape.

ROBBERIES

BURKE CENTER PKWY., 5600 block, 10 p.m. May 20. A gunman demanded cash from a woman at an ATM. He took her cash and demanded that she withdraw more. He then took her ATM card and fled on foot.

BURKE LAKE PARK, block. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle.

LEEFIELD DR., 3000 block. Tennis rackets and a skateboard were stolen from a residence.

OAKFORD DR., 8500 block, 9:30 a.m. May 17. A woman confronted a male intruder in her house and told him to leave. The man asked how to find a grocery store and left. An investigation revealed similar instances of a man entering unlocked residences in the neighborhood.

ASSAULTS

DANIELS RUN WAY, 10000 block, 9:39 p.m. May 19. A woman assaulted a 16-year-old girl during an argument, pushing her to the ground, choking her and striking her in the face. An 18-year-old Clifton woman was charged with assault and public drunkenness.

ROBBERIES

LEE HWY., 10100 block, 12:20 a.m. May 24. A male entered a service station, went behind a counter and demanded cash from a clerk. The clerk gave him cash, then the robber took beer from a cooler and fled.

LEE HWY., 11000 block, 8:45 a.m. May 23. A man with a handgun entered a service station and demanded cash. A clerk opened a cash register and gave him cash. The man then demanded more cash, and when the clerk said he had none, the man sprayed him in the face with pepper and fled.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ASSEMBLY DR., 10500 block, May 20 to May 21. Several plants in front of a residence were stolen.

JERMANTOWN RD., 4000 block, 12:46 p.m. May 24. A male threw merchandise from a store over a fence. The male pushed a security guard and ran when the guard attempted to stop him. The male fled in an occupied vehicle.

MAIN ST., 11100 block. On May 21, a man told a male that he needed cash and asked him to buy power tools that he had in his hotel room. The victim gave him cash and a ride to the hotel. Instead of going to a hotel room, the thief left the hotel through a door. In a similar incident on May 22, a male passenger received cash from a male and a ride to a hotel, where the passenger claimed to have some tools to sell. The passenger disappeared, and the motorist called police. A man was located in woods behind the hotel. A 30-year-old Fairfax man was charged with two counts of grand theft.

OLD LEE HWY., 3200 block, 1:48 p.m. May 20. Two garbage disposals were stolen from a hardware store.

OLD LEE HWY., 3500 block, 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 17. A cell phone was stolen from a backpack in a girls gym locker at a high school.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

ARLINGTON BLVD., 9400 block, 5:35 p.m. May 20. A blue 1993 Jeep, reported stolen from Maryland, was recovered in a parking lot of an apartment complex.

VANDALISM

ARLINGTON BLVD., 9500 block, 8:26 a.m. May 25. Graffiti was spray-painted on a wooden planter in the parking lot of a restaurant.

FAIRFAX SQ., 3800 block, May 23 to May 24. Graffiti was spray-painted on a vehicle.

MAIN ST., 9700 block, 8:40 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 24. Screws were stuck in four tires of a vehicle at a business.

OLD POST RD., 3600 block, 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 21. A sign on a path by a swimming pool was damaged.

SABLEWOOD ST., 3900 block, 1 to 4 p.m. May 22. A vehicle in front of a residence was damaged.

WASHINGTON ST. N., 200 block, 4 to 7 p.m. May 21. A coin purse was stolen from a purse in a medical office.

WASHINGTON ST. S., 200 block, 1:04 a.m. May 23. A male took two 12-packs of beer from a convenience store. A 20-year-old

Falls Church male was charged with shoplifting.

WASHINGTON ST. S., 400 block, 9:05 p.m. May 18. A wallet, left on the front seat of a vehicle in a parking lot, was stolen.
