Columbia Area

ROBBERIES

COLUMBIA RD., 5300 block, 11:36 p.m. May 24. One of five people in a parking lot threatened a male working on a vehicle and demanded cash. The male fled and an attempt was made to strike him with a broom. The five fled empty-handed.

LITTLE PATUXENT PKWY., 10200 block, 9:59 p.m. May 22. One man and four boys accosted four juveniles skateboarding. One of the five produced a handgun and the four juveniles were patted down and robbed of their shoes and cell phones. A 19-year-old man, two boys, ages 13 and 14, and two boys, age 15, were arrested.

LITTLE PATUXENT PKWY., 10300 block, 5:40 p.m. May 24. Three people at a shopping mall assaulted a male and robbed him of cash. The male received abrasions on his head and neck.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BASKET RING RD., 9600 block, 5 p.m. May 20 to 9:15 a.m. May 21. A TV-VCR, a radio and other property were stolen from a neighborhood center entered by forcing a glass door. A side door was smashed.

DOWNDALE PL., 6600 block, 6:05 p.m. May 19. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

LAST SUNBEAM PL., 6300 block, 11 p.m. May 19 to 8:30 a.m. May 20. A purse containing a vehicle key was stolen from one of two vehicles parked in a residential garage and the key was used to steal a purple 2002 Toyota Tundra from the garage.

RUMSEY RD., 9200 block, 6 p.m. May 22 to 4:04 p.m. May 23. An attempt was made to enter a business by forcing a mail slot.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

BROKEN LAND PARKWAY AND ROUTE 32, 7:05 p.m. May 25. An attempt was made to steal a silver Honda Civic.

GERWIG LANE, 9300 block, 2:44 p.m. May 25. A white Ford van was stolen.

GERWIG LANE, 9600 block, 3:32 p.m. May 21. A blue 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier was stolen.

Elkridge Area

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

BROOKDALE DR., 7100 block, 12:01 a.m. April 4 to 3:33 p.m. May 21. A green 1998 GMC Yukon was stolen.

Ellicott City Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

DORSEY HALL DR., 5000 block, 3:30 p.m. May 21 to 7:45 a.m. May 24. Medical supplies were stolen from a dental office entered by forcing a rear window.

MUSTERING DRUM, 4500 block, 1:20 p.m. May 19. A person attempted to enter a residence by breaking a window, then fled when a resident inside heard the noise and shouted.

NORMANDY WOODS DR., 3200 block, 5:32 p.m. May 23. Three people attempted to enter a residence by removing a screen and opening a window.

TOWN AND COUNTRY BLVD., 8700 block, noon May 11 to 10:26 a.m. May 21. A pay phone was taken from the wall of a pool house entered by kicking in a door.

TOWN AND COUNTRY BLVD., 8800 block, 8:05 p.m. May 21. Police responded to a report of several juveniles breaking into a vacant apartment through a rear slider. Upon arrival, the juveniles could not be located. Nothing was reported stolen.

WHEATON WAY, 3100 block, 12:36 a.m. May 23. Two boys in an apartment complex parking lot and asked three males for cigarettes and change. One of the boys then pulled out a dark-colored CO2-powered pellet gun. A struggle ensued and the gun was taken from the boy. The assailants fled.

Fulton Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

PINDELL SCHOOL RD., 6900 block, 8:30 a.m. May 21 to 6 p.m. May 24. Jewelry, cash, coins and property were stolen from a residence entered through an interior garage door.

STABEAN DR., 8100 block, 12:22 a.m. May 23. A resident returned home to find three males inside the residence. The males fled through the rear of the residence. Nothing was reported stolen.

Jessup Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

WASHINGTON BLVD., 7700 block, 9:30 a.m. May 21 to 1 p.m. May 22. Jewelry, a toolbox, a keyboard, and a video game system were stolen from a mobile home entered by breaking a front window. A room was entered by force and ransacked.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

DORSEY RUN RD., 8400 block, March 16 to 2:13 p.m. May 20. A Chevrolet Suburban was stolen.

DORSEY RUN RD., 8400 block, 7 a.m. April 13 to 7 a.m. May 13. A blue 2004 Cadillac DeVille, a red 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and a silver 2004 Saturn Vue were stolen.

WASHINGTON BLVD., 7900 block, 2:46 p.m. May 23. A red 1998 Montero was stolen.

Laurel Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GORMAN RD., 8800 block, 4 a.m. May 25. A police officer investigated sounds of glass breaking and saw a man leaving a business. A man, age 48, was arrested. The man was also charged with the burglary of two other businesses on the same street on the same day.

NORTHGATE RD., 9300 block, 9:30 p.m. May 22. Police responded to a residential alarm and found the residence had been entered by forcing a door. Nothing was reported stolen.

THAMESMEADE RD., 9100 block, 8 a.m. April 24 to 8 a.m. May 12. A microwave oven was stolen from a residence.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

HORSHAM DR., 9600 block, 11 p.m. May 20 to 9:23 a.m. May 21. An attempt was made to steal a gray Honda Accord.

TIGER LILY PATH, 9700 block, 4-6 a.m. May 22. A black 1994 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle was stolen.

Savage Area

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

LINCOLN ST., 8800 block, noon to 2:40 p.m. May 21. A residence was entered by forcing a front door lock. Nothing was reported stolen.
